Name this bug ... friend or foe ?!

Hey gurus ... what kind of bug is this? I live in Socal and these little buggers love my plants. I've see them yellow like this but also with an orange/red tinge. The big question is ... friend or foe? It doesn't seem to be causing any harm but what do I know?

Thanks Cranker ... I'll stop killin' em then. LOL I wasn't sure. Thanks Elenor ... yes, over nuted her when I took her outside for flower. She's recovering nicely on all the new growth you can't see.

glad you posted this because I get the same little guys! i've been killing them because i wasn't sure and just figured i wouldn't take the risk...good to know!

Yea, ive got those as well and ive seen them kill other bugs so I've just been letting them be.
