I have a pair of the double row F-strips as outriggers on each of my 4 emitter Vero arrays. I have 4 of those strips powered by a 320 watt 48V cv driver, so they run at a lower power level so the efficiency is almost the same as an lm301b. I just mounted each of the strips to a 2" wide x .125"...

More info on the grow will help with a diagnosis. Media, nutes, ph and ec you're feeding will help as well as pics of both old and new growth.

Most of the fixtures I have will run at about 50degC in ambient air. No worries about fire, but you need to be able to exhaust the heat the fixture will produce. My 480w qb clone fixture runs about 5" below the tent top with zero issues.

Definitely gettin' jungle like... All I can suggest would be some selective thinning on interior shoots and some lst to tame the unruly colas. Not a bad problem to have.

3.5 sq ft of canopy will need approximately 150 watts of older 'blurple' leds or 100 watts of top-tier diodes. Can you link the description of the fixtures you're using? I suspect that you are using too much power and that's what is creating your temp issues.

I suspect that the off-taste is from the residual plant material, trichome heads.

Stay away from uni-seals(let the shit show begin...) and use at least 2" drains. Some type of chiller would be a wise investment, especially if you're running leds. It's tough to keep the solution cool when the tent is in the 80's. I don't use a 'rez' tote in my system, it's just 4 totes...
