DYI build, 4 to 4.5' bar style need help

I have a pair of the double row F-strips as outriggers on each of my 4 emitter Vero arrays. I have 4 of those strips powered by a 320 watt 48V cv driver, so they run at a lower power level so the efficiency is almost the same as an lm301b. I just mounted each of the strips to a 2" wide x .125"...

More info on the grow will help with a diagnosis. Media, nutes, ph and ec you're feeding will help as well as pics of both old and new growth.

    LED light question (HLG)

Most of the fixtures I have will run at about 50degC in ambient air. No worries about fire, but you need to be able to exhaust the heat the fixture will produce. My 480w qb clone fixture runs about 5" below the tent top with zero issues.

Veg only LED suggestions to replace 250w 6k MH?

https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/all/products/hlg-100 This would work really well. I run a V1QB(4000k) in my 3x2 veg/mother tent. I typically run it at about 75 watts and the plants love it.

Definitely gettin' jungle like... All I can suggest would be some selective thinning on interior shoots and some lst to tame the unruly colas. Not a bad problem to have.

Help fighting temps getting ass whooped

3.5 sq ft of canopy will need approximately 150 watts of older 'blurple' leds or 100 watts of top-tier diodes. Can you link the description of the fixtures you're using? I suspect that you are using too much power and that's what is creating your temp issues.

DIY LED Options in a 2'x3'x2.6' Cabinet

Working in such limited headroom is going to be challenging. Check out Lost Leaf Matt(lostleafmatt) on IG. He runs a small commercial grow in MI with a rack system. https://www.instagram.com/lostleafmatt/ You may get some ideas from him.

    Dabbing bubble

I suspect that the off-taste is from the residual plant material, trichome heads.

    Trying something new.

Very nice run. Do you do any fading/flushing prior to harvesting? I'm currently running a similar grow pheno-hunting some Irie Genetics Morning Dew. What I'm about to do is when each of the pheno's show all cluody trics, I'll just use water(ph'd) for about 10-14 days. My hope is that as the...

    Denver/Longmont Seeds

Hi, reaching out for a friend who is traveling to Denver this weekend for some skiing. He wanted to score some decent genetics while he's out there. Any suggestions on some good sources locally?

    Thinking about rdwc?

Stay away from uni-seals(let the shit show begin...) and use at least 2" drains. Some type of chiller would be a wise investment, especially if you're running leds. It's tough to keep the solution cool when the tent is in the 80's. I don't use a 'rez' tote in my system, it's just 4 totes...

Can I plant these clones outdoors?

been there, done that... Those clones are probably sexually mature, so as soon as you put them out in April they'll begin to flower because the daylight hours are too short. Nothing worse than watching some nice colas forming and then watch as the plant re-vegges. I live at the N GA line, and...

    Thinking about rdwc?

I started with a diy 8-bucket system. Needless to say, it was a steep learning curve. Fast forward 5 years, and what I can offer would be to use totes instead of buckets. Much better platform and easier to keep sealed. How large of a system are you thinking about? I grow to make my meds, so I've...
