    Slow down girls

Lst is well worth a try and actually pretty easy. Tie off the base of the plant to one side of the pot, then bend the top down to the other side of the pot. Take it slowly so as not to break it. What you are trying to achieve is getting the top below the other nodes - this will confuse the...

Female turning male? Hermie? Or sinsemilla?

I was going to say what Padawan Warrior said. When I see swollen calyx's like that when the rest of the pistils are still white I expect there to be a seed in it.

    Problem late in flower

This often happens late in flower at the ripening stage. The energy the plant was using to keep itself healthy is now being used for ripening (at least that's how I see it). What is your humidity like? If I was in your position I would be getting those troubled leaves out of there. Most of...

Should I wait or chop now?

I do like a nice early plant. I prefer the high. Totally agree she could (and probably should) go another couple of weeks - but she wouldn't be bad now. What strain is it by the way? Looks amazing (and healthy) - good work!

Top Shelf Elite Seeds back in Stock @ Original Seeds Store ..

Got a San Francisco sour dough running here and there's something wrong with it. 4.5 weeks into flowering. The other six plants in the tent all look like they've been sprinkled with glitter they've got that many trichomes - the San Francisco Sour Dough has none. No trichomes at all. It was...

Is this male preflowers or am i being paranoid

I had this on a Spumoni too. Male flowers appeared before female. Pinched the male flowers off and she ended up mostly female. Plenty of nanas (and a few more classically male flowers) late in flowering, but the only seeds were in lower buds and popcorn. Was worth it though, because the weed...

Can feminized seeds become male plants??

The 'Twins' kicked out another set of male flowers at the next node. I pinched them off as well. The day after that pistils have appeared at the top couple of nodes, and no further male flowers. Hopefully if I can keep her stress free from here on in she won't be too hermie till it's too late...

    Cannarado genetics

The 'Twins' I posted about previously that had shown male flowers at one of the nodes, also showed male flowers at the next node - both before any pistils. I pinched off both sets of male flowers. Today I have noticed pistils in the top couple of nodes, and no further male flowers. She...

    Cannarado genetics

I've got a feminized Cannarado Twins here that's kicked out a couple of male flowers on the same node before any pistils that I can see. It's just over a week into 12/12. The two other plants I flipped at the same time as her (a 'Plug Seedbank' Spumoni, and a 'Top Shelf Elite' San Francisco...

Can feminized seeds become male plants??

Got a feminized Cannarado Twins here that's kicking out male flowers before any female that I can see (and I'm pretty good at spotting pistils). These are proper male flowers too (not banans like I see in mainly female flowers sometimes later in flowering). All other plants in the tent have...

What's wrong with my bitch in the back .....

Possibly having a reaction to nitrogen. Maybe just a low yielding lady. Does she smell ok?

    Seedsman genetics very unhappy

I've been wanting to try an Gelato strain - it seems they are very hermie prone. More the strain than the company I'd say. Hermies are pretty common - a full male in a fem pack is almost unheard of.

    Seedsman genetics very unhappy

How far along are they? Almost always worth taken them to completion. I'll second the comment that you're unlucky - I've been growing for a decade, never had a single male (just a few hermies to one degree or another). I've actually got my first strain on the go at the moment that's caused me...

Any hints for drying in a humid atmosphere?

Get all the leaves off, even the sugar leaves - at the point where the stem joins the plant (or as close as you can - gets harder the closer you get to the tops). Have an oscilating fan blowing gently on the branches as they dry. Vent the drying area as much as you can. Good luck!

True Canna genetics Terperella - beauty and the beast.

Just to offer up a comparison. This is the quick flowering of the good phenotypes. Smells of over ripe pineapples with a bit of skunk/funk underneath it - 8 out of 10 smell intensity (the OGKZ which are flowering in the tent too stink harder - 9.5 out of 10 smell intensity for them). They...

True Canna genetics Terperella - beauty and the beast.

An update on day 51 of 12/12. The strange phenotype still doesn't have any discernible trichomes (not great for a strain marketed as a hash making strain). You can't see anything even resembling trichomes with the naked eye - there is a slight glitter in the pictures though, on the marco...

Have you used defoliation to control stretch?

I couldn't work out what I was looking at first of all. I thought that was a post harvest picture and he was tying to reveg.

    Leafs yellowing

Worrying about little issues like that is a pointless stress in my opinion. Often trying to correct minor issues which are not a real problem can lead to a real problem. From what I can see of those plants they look generally healthy. I've got a super feeding Yumbolt Banana here which is...

    Are these buds producing seeds?

I wouldn't worry about it if the buds are that mature and yet the seeds are only just forming. I've had a couple of strains seem to produce small seed like things, with no obvious signs of hermaphroditism during growing (Seedism Exodus did it big time - I've also seen it in commercially...
