Basically "windburn" is excessive wind... it doesnt really burn a plant like humans get, but it robs the plant of moisture... items like leaves curling down are a sign, if this happens turn the fan down or re-angle it and normally in 24 hours the leaves are back ... if it is indeed "windburn".

Don't flush! Just lower your nute level... I have done this on many grows and never had any complaints... I feed just straight water the last 2 waterings before I chop.
