Making cannabis infused oil for cooking

Sure, use coconut oil instead of butter. I have a slow cooker and slightly bubble the oil/water/cannabis for about eight hours. Use plenty of water and chill the mixture after simmering and straining--infused fat will be on top. Search cannabutter for a step-by-step.

CXA3050-0000-000N00W430F as a possible led choice?

Yeah, 20mm should work fine. I bought some 3/4" but haven't used it. SupraSPL uses 1/2" as I recall.

Yes. Clean the heatsink with alcohol so the tape adheres well. What width, 15mm?

where do i place the humidity sensor

That looks OK. Humidity is spread quite evenly in a room. My humidifier has its own humidity sensor on the cord in back of the unit, works great.

CXA3050-0000-000N00W430F as a possible led choice?

I haven't grown under COBs but I have grown under Lumigrow which is basically dual spectrum. The 660nm red really seems to make things finish fast, like a week faster than the published flowering time. So I went with the warmer 3000K and even bought a couple 2700K CXA3590 to throw in the mix...

CXA3050-0000-000N00W430F as a possible led choice?

I'm building with 3000K for bloom but I see a lot of folks going for 3500K. I think the brightness bin is more important than CRI but 80 does seem like the best compromise.

CXA3050-0000-000N00W430F as a possible led choice?

To compare a CBX3590 with a CXA3050 (or whatever) we can use the Cree PCT (Product Characterization Tool). http://www.cree.com/LED-Components-and-Modules/Tools-and-Support/Tools I think they have to layer on more phosphors to get better CRI which lowers the lumens. Not what you need but I...

    Any problems using HLG-240h-C1750 to run 4 CXB3590's @ 36v?

kutop doesn't show the HLG-240H-C series yet. Mouser has a half dozen of each model arriving in the middle of January. Give Sager a call: http://www.powergatellc.com/mean-well-hlg-240h-c-power-supply.html The latest email from Jerry at Kingbrite says: " Many customers are waiting for MW...

Planning to buy a soldering gun need help

I ruined a P2KC (I think) by using Ronson fuel. Use the best quality butane. Unless I was doing a lot of work in the field, I'd get a plug-in iron first--but either style will build a luminaire. I have one of the stand-up torches but I've never used it. A pen-type iron is more comfortable...

I've never been any good at repairing switching power supplies. Besides that, the HLG's are potted in epoxy as I recall.
