First time DWC and plants showing deficiencies

Well I went out their and checked my buckets and to turn the air off. Checked the pH in all 10 buckets and the first 5 did not need to add any pH. Matter of fact they had some pH drop, just a tad and not much. Gonna leave the air stones going in them and check again tomorrow. They looked great...

I always thought each bucket needed an airstone. Otherwise it would be like the Kratky method.

Checked those roots again today and I added some Mycorrhizae to the water think it was from blue planet?? Anyways I snapped a pic of the roots after around 12 hr's. I also turned my dehumidifier off. Room temps back down to 77 and water temp was 75.2 at the hottest time of the day...

Could add some Mycorrhizae to the water?

No biggie I got this guys who said those with soft water or running reverse osmosis need to spike their water up to 200 ppm level with Cal mag. I know when I make clones if I add in some Cal mag the roots develop a heck of a lot faster in my mister than just straight well water. Also a little...

This is water temp during the hottest part of the day. Not in a spot I wanna be in but not life threatening for the plants. I also have 24 plants started for some gorilla growing. These are crosses I bred. This unusual looking seedling is a g13 x critical mass.

Mostly silty loam. Close to a major river. Their can be patches of clay and even red Rock around these parts but rare to see. Have to travel around 50 miles east before you get into any rock. Can't say where exactly I'm at cause it's not exactly legal here. Lol

Could have gotten some pH down on them when lowering it the first time.

Under LED, temps 71 degrees slightly more during the day but only goes to 73. It's been in the mid 90s last couple days so temps got a little higher. Water rez is a mix of Cal mag and general hydroponics 3 part solution . 15 ml of Cal mag brings up 39 ppm well water to 210 ppm in 5 gal of...

If their is it couldn't be much as their is no rock around here. You can dig down a 100 ft and hit water and their is no rock at all. I'm positive their is some though as it is what makes up my 30s ppm after all. I was just shooting for around 200 ppm with my well water and Cal mag combined. A...

Yes it is, usually in the 30s and have seen it down in the upper 20s ppm, the reason why I used so much was from videos of other dwc guys using it and I basically copied their formula. Since my water is super soft it has very little calcium or minerals. I thought about switching to a...

First time DWC and plants showing deficiencies

Started getting good new growth with no spots. Checked on the grow tonight and the PH was back up to around 7 again. So I then added some PH down which took around 2.5 ml per 5 gal to lower it back to 5.8 ish. What is causing everyone of my 5 gal buckets to keep rising in pH? Is this normal...

First time DWC and plants showing deficiencies

Went to the grow and checked the pH and it had tested 6.94. I already had some pH up and down but no directions on package or bottles. Never used it before as I always grew in soil and just used lime. Had no signal so had to drive where I had signal, went to general hydroponics site and...

Ok thanks I'll do that and see if it belps. I've learned that soil is much more forgiving than hydro, if their is a problem it shows up quickly and you better be on top of it

The only thing that I think it could be is the pH rising on me. When I get back to my room later on I'm gonna have to test the pH once again. The roots are just now starting to touch the water. I started most of the seeds in grodan rockwool cubes with one exception.. had one plant in a foam...

Total ppm is ranging from 310-317. When I mixed it the pH was 5.8

Yes I know it's a Calcium or magnesium def, should I bump it up an additional 100 ppm with Cal mag? Or should I use Epsom salt? I would think 200 ppm of Cal mag as a base would of been enough calmag. Maybe I should run just 300 ppm of calmag and that's it until they get bigger?
