Could be top heavey, but looks to me like they trying to grow towards the light. Noticed tops are point right at your closest lights. Could be wrong though.

The one I'm chopping sunday is on;y 14 inches tall. My other one just hit week 6 of flower, and is about the same height, and the buds on main colas are 4-6 tall.

I'm no expert, but it's seems normal for lower fan leaves to gradually turn yellow and fall off. And 87f seems too hot to me. I personally keep my temp between 75-80 in light, and 70-75 in dark.

No you don't have to be exact with timing. Within 30 min. The sun don't rise and set at the same minute every day. 12/12 after a week was to keep it short as I have limited space. Will, however lower yield a lot. The more you let it veg first, the taller it will get, and the better your yield.

I have heard of using H2O2(peroxide) to help the roots get more oxygen during flush. Other than that, I'm not really sure.

I keep it far enough away to not worry about paper catching fire. LOL. I did once brush the top of my head against the light while tending, and singed my damn hair on it. So I now know they get HOT! ;)

Yeah. I started 12/12 after about 10 days of veg. By 3 weeks old it was starting to flower.

Mine leaned like that after about a week and a half, but by 2weeks, it was 3 inches tall and almost 9 inches wide. But I was growing in soil, and threw it into 12/12 at about a week. It's now about 16 inches tall with lots of buds growing. Yet still that section between soil and first nodes...

I just taped up typing paper to cover the walls of my box. Made a huge difference, and was very cheap. Tried foil first. But with a 400W HPS. Not a good idea.

I see what you are saying. 1000W should not flip the breaker. I run a space heater constantly which packs 900-1200w by itself. Even when my 400W HPS is running is 1300-1600W, I've never flipped a breaker. Perhaps, though, run an extension cord to a plug on another circuit with a timer there...

I started to use foil. (Thought of mirrors as well) But was told that both reflect more heat than light, and that it will burn your babies. So I just taped/glued up typing paper all around the inside of my box and it seemed to work pretty well.
