Which one do you preffer between GREAT WHITE SHARK, AZOS,MYCOS WP to use in supersoil and WHY?

fwiw - I use the WP version so that I can use it at transplant and during top feeding/watering afterwards. From what little I know, it seemed to me that WP had the advantage of being dual-use where the normal one was really only meant for use during planting and if watered in may not make it...

    Building Coots soil mix

I was also going to mention that you would lost the chitin if not using crab meal. Also on substituting for the neem you're losing the IPM benefits it provides but you could again work another angle to get pest prevention baked in there. Also there's a crowd out there proclaiming that using neem...

    Neptune's liquid Crab & Lobster 2-0-2

I'd imagine if it's adding chitin to the equation it'd be a good thing to try. Sounds promising as a mix like you're proposing.

Raging Kush 2.0 Died after software updated

Sometimes you can force a reset to the original manufactured firmware version. Then just update to the last stable release before this crap-tastic version was put out there. Might have to crack things open to find a way to do that though - i.e. it might be some switch or jumper pins or...

    Fabric Grow Bed, Inoculation

re: soil tests there's teh Soil Savvy tests which have been popular and discussed on this site quite a bit and can be bought directly or from Amazon between 20 and 30 bucks. Then there's other commonly cited vendors for tests. Search this site for soil tests and you'll find all types of...

    Fabric Grow Bed, Inoculation

You might consider getting a soil test before re-amending things so you can target what you need and not cause an excess of what you don't. Also with the soil sitting & aging it may have broken down and some things may be more readily available for the plants to take up than they were before.

Safe to put SLF100 in Tea?

I would guess it wouldn't hurt, the question is whether it's beneficial. From what I understand the mixing of different bacteria/etc. is that one or two will likely outcompete the others or even consume others as a food source. So the trick would come down to how long you brew, how they all...

Molasses and variants of at the store

I had also considered just getting sucrose/dextrose as that's the main ingredients in one of the NFTG products anyhow. I don't use it very often, maybe a dash in a tea or a watering to boost the microbes. The Fe is sort of what interested me really but in soil that should be at sufficient levels...

Molasses and variants of at the store

Actually checking their site now, I might have had it backwards. ;-) The question still remains, would one be of more benefit over the other?

Molasses and variants of at the store

So I occasionally will use a little molasses in my grows and finally used up my bottle that lasted me a very long time. Grandma's Unsulphered is what I had used and often see cited as a go-to brand to pick up. Today I was at the grocery store and figured I'd pick up a bottle to have on hand for...

Suitable pump for 3 open flow 1" FloraFlex bubblers?

I think some people look for RV pumps as they're lower flow but higher PSI. There was something about those style of pumps where they're geared more towards higher pressures than flow rates. Many of those are 12v based I think, so you'd need a power supply for them. Not sure if there's an...

Opinions on the best quiet air pump.

IIRC you definitely want to stick with what they refer to as a linear air pump. The diaphragm ones like the EcoAir are always going to be louder. And I'd have to wager a bet that this is one of those 'you get what you pay for' type of deals - just avoid over-hyped brand names with stupid markups...

AC Infinity Cloudray 6" Auto Oscillating Fan

Wow. Sucks to hear that they're such a disappointment. Was looking into buying some myself but now it sounds like it may not be worth it. The digital control and EC motors were appealing but if they can't do the actual job and are underpowered then you'd need multiple and the price point just...

    Prepare my carpeted bedroom/growspace?

Have to do your homework, maybe even call that vendor, but in my experience they have markings for where to drill the hole and are not drilled by default. I bought 2 trays long ago from Botanicare and that was the case back then. And even if they were drilled, you can get fittings to seal them...

    Prepare my carpeted bedroom/growspace?

Once you get the vocabulary down, searching is easier. Also knowing common brands like Botanicare help narrow down the search. i.e. https://growershouse.com/botanicare-od-black-tray-4-x-4 Note the OD vs ID on measurements and compare to your tents actual dimensions. Alternately, you could get...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

I'd be careful of dropping your amendments into the rez itself. I've done that a few times and I think you will be misled at first thinking all is well as it may take a few for them to break down but then BAM I was seeing signs of burn a few days later. I think once they get soluble their...

Looking for input on possible lockout vs an actual deficiency

Bluelab Soil pH pen was used for test; Distilled water to get the reading. Could probably use a calibration as it's been a few months but when checking my tap water with it the reading seemed to still be in the expected range from past checks. My RO water is pretty much neutral iirc; Will...

Looking for input on possible lockout vs an actual deficiency

So if I had posted pics alone without any of the details - pretending you didn't know all that - I'd be curious what folks think it matches when referring to the common sources for pics/examples of the various toxicity/deficiency types. That's what I was trying to match up to as a clue at least.

Looking for input on possible lockout vs an actual deficiency

I get that there's a lot of variables going on for sure, but each was done in low amounts and not all at once either. Also with the very long veg time I figured they had ate through a good bit of the macros. I figured a test is the only real answer with any accuracy but I thought the clues...
