Any 3D Gurus OUT THERE ?

I use nylon filament for stronger parts, had to get a special nozzle for it and use a heated build plate. Also have ninjaflex, a rubber-like filament. Can be used to print wheels for an RC car for example. Mainly I use ABS tho, its strong, cheap, and comes in lots of colors (even...

Any 3D Gurus OUT THERE ?

I will when its more finished, I'm still changing a lot of stuff like the connecting rods which connect 1 cob-holder to another to create 1 big fixture etc. Take a look at SketchUp on youtube for cad software, its super easy!

@wietefras interessant? @CobKits cool thanks, I'll take a look! @MrTwist1 nice, I want to get a couple, but I'm wondering how many I'll buy to use as side light's. I was kinda thinking about getting a bunch for top lighting as well (make 1 big panel with these).. what dýa think? @Hybridway...

    Amazon joining the 420 club

Exactly my thoughts. There are some manufacturers with very decent led lights, but holy shit, their prices are crazy. I'm waiting on some last parts I need to start building my own 20 cob Gavita 1000 "killer" (sounds cool eh?). You replied in my thread about the 2015 stock led strips, from all...

Any 3D Gurus OUT THERE ?

I have a Makerbot Replicator X2, and I'm about to build my first 20 cob fixture. I already printed a perfect heatsink out of ABS, and my friend will try to make a mould out of it so we can pour our own passive pin heatsinks in aluminium for like $0.50 each. I had the idea for my light to design...

Does this very cheap LED unit (including driver) interest you?

@Jubilant I have found some more information: I found the catalog from this exact product line from which the code begins with LM. There are several different led boards but they are all single row boards, none of them match with this one, the LM400 code, which the factory responded with...

If these are total shit, can someone please explain why? (I was thinking about buying a couple as side lights, as they are really cheap imo..)

Can someone please tell me if these are good for my 40 cobs project?

oh cool! thanks! To be honest, I didn't even notice (I'm still a newbie at electronics). I will use it to power the fans then for the heatsinks. Can I put some kind of pot meter between the fan and the connector to find the sweetspot for temperature of the cob?

Does this very cheap LED unit (including driver) interest you?

Some background: In my search for good deals on led's and driver I've found a factory selling these overstock. These units where build into a commercial fixture in 2015 (modern leds), but these fixtures where taken out of production because the company changed focus and thus their product-line...

    Girls drinking alot of water

plants learn to drink. If your plants (leaves, etc.) look healthy and they grow, you should not stress about it. I've done many(!) hydro grows and know from experience plants can easily drink 4 liters per day each.

Can someone please tell me if these are good for my 40 cobs project?

@loftygoals I've bought 20 for 1 light yes. But I need to replace the 2nd gavita too. I was planning on buying another 20 citizen cobs but I could also for example do something totally different for the 2nd light.. the only thing important is that it should be comparable (harvest wise) with the...

Can someone please tell me if these are good for my 40 cobs project?

@loftygoals thanks a lot for your reply:) If you where in my shoes: replacing your 1000w Gavita for a 20 x 1212 DIY build, would you run them at 50w and buy these drivers or would you buy others or run them differently?
