hey thanks for your response so here's an update i turned the ballast to 100% bulb fires up no problem runs for about 30 to 40mins i have it plugged in a brinks digital timer Model 44-1075, do you think that the ballast could be to much for the surge protect/timer port...? cause the bulb still...
