they will evenly distribute heat so same heat 10 would make 20 would make just each board would be cooler ie 10 at 40c now 20 is closer to 20-30c (just a example don’t hold me to it) So you could use aluminum angle or T slot from 8020 if you want to have some ease they are pricey though

Try to just buy more strips over heat sinks, I’ve been pricing eb gen 3 build and the heat sinks would cost me enough to double my strips. Food for thought. Also if price is a huge concern see if those Samsung $5 strips are still around, probably one of the cheapest options, not very efficient...

Those $5 Samsung strips would take that $1 a watt down a shit ton further

Also OP, look into 8020 for your frame with qb96’s that’s what I’ve been using it’s super easy and amazing. Can give you a list of what I used for my 4x4 area with 6 qb96 if you want. It’s a bit pricey but it looks amazing

Those are a waste of money. You would be better off produce more with your resources by buying lights from https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/ in my opinion. They have a Recommended sq ft usage on every light. If you planned on using that whole room you will spend a very pretty penny on good...

So that doesn’t really help any of us, but you are looking at 30-40 watts of high quality led lighting per sq ft. That is not led from amazon or 98% of the terrible Chinese leds. If the room is 5x5 then you need enough light for 25 sq ft

If you are willing to diy, then strip build would work...

How about giving us the size of the grow area you are working with. You’ll have to decide between DIY & Plug and play Horticulture lighting group, timber’s led lights, Aussie high lights, cutter strips and a few others are great.
