4 weeks into flower, how much bud should there be

4 1000w de’s in that room. T5 HO (high output) are fluorescent bulbs that pull 54w a bulb (4 foot bulb) and put out far better light than t8 fluorescent bulbs.

4 weeks into flower, how much bud should there be

big lights = big plants lol, the lights you are using are the bottom of the barrel, at least use t5 ho lamps and even at that a 4’ 8 bulb light is going to pull 432 watts at the wall at which point you could look at a 315 watt cmh. Many ways to grow on a budget and reduce cost and heat without...

    Club 600

Don’t think the light has anything to do with your product, I run 1000w de’s and they kill.14 BIG plants only 4 1ks less fluffy crap then I have ever had using se 1ks.

Is 1000w de hps worth it

Is your 1k se air cooled now? To answer your initial question, yes the switch to de from se is well worth it, if you can control the heat and have great air flow. I am running 4 right now and love them.

Is 1000w de hps worth it

I wouldn’t run one in a tent that’s for sure, too low, they need to be mounted high.

Ya stop messing with your plants, these things got butchered.

    Humidity

Lol your hygrometer only measures humidity at the unit, not with the probe, put the entire unit in the dome and measure humidity that way otherwise your not getting “in dome humidity”. Humidity displayed is OUT meaning where the actual unit is sitting not where the probe is sitting. Got to be...

    DE vs Vero29

So it is safe to say that best numbers are achieved in a 4x4 area? Wouldn’t it be more camparable to a 600/750 de in coverage since 1000w de is meant to be mounted much higher and therefore covering a much larger footprint that a 4x4. I mean going from a 4x4 to a 5x5 you are saying the PPFD is...

    From DEs to LEDs

Greengrassgrower1, makes complete sense and only you know what works in your area, if I was running your space I would be doing exactly what you are as I think the qb’s are great lights and I’m like you in the sense of, I’m looking for efficiency. One way or the other I will be trying out some...

    From DEs to LEDs

No, running at 1k I have never run my ballasts on super or anything like that, never heard of any manufacturer recommending the 1150 setting. As far as I knew they are bulb rated at 2100 Umol on the 1k setting, seen them tested at 24” at 1900 umol. Day 10 flower today. I’m interested as hell...

    From DEs to LEDs

First off I would like to say beautiful grows , very impressive. Looks like those qb’s are kicking some ass!! On a side note your g/w with hps is super low!! I believe you went way overboard using 1k de fixtures to light a 4x4 area. I feel like you could have used 600w de’s with no loss in...

Which is the best HPS DE combo?

I am currently running 4 phantom 1000w de's. mounted 8.5 feet from the floor I can say they are quite powerful, 6' spacing in a 13' x 11' and there is not a square inch of shade in the room. Very happy with them.

    DWC/Bubbleponics root problems(?)

400 sounds about right considering what your tap water is. I would just use base nutes and your hydroguard, you should not be needing any calmag added. This chart I added notice something as simple as phosphorus excess manifests in the form of ca mg deficiency (not that there isn't enough but...

    DWC/Bubbleponics root problems(?)

Plants look burnt man back off the nutrients, your plants size and root size are not that of a plant that requires 500-700 ppms. I would run them on ph'd tap water for 48 hours and then start back on nutrients at a very LOW ppm. Here is a pic of one of my plants right now that was burned pretty...

Having an issue with my chiller not turning off.

When you turn the unit on and set it to your temp, you should hear a audible click from the relay when that temp is reached. The noise is the relays coil dropping out disconnecting the contact which should turn the compressor off. I would turn it on test relay coil power when running (compressor...

Having an issue with my chiller not turning off.

Pull the relays and test them out of the unit. Test the contacts for continuity, no (normally open) should have no continuity until the coil is powered and switches the contact to the closed position. If you have continuity on the normally open circuit while out of the unit you have a stuck...
