Get an air lock for the bucket. Get a painters mask. Regardless of allergies. You do not want to breath in grokashi dust. It will make your chest hurt for a couple days. It makes you feel like a gnarly flu is coming on. It goes away after 3 days of breathing it in. It happened to me twice. You...

He's making an imo (indigenous micro organisms) Same idea as making bokashi. But using microbes in native soil to ferment and innoculate the rice. I don't do it because I'm in the desert and there's sand everywhere. No woods or anything here. I don't have anywhere to bury a box of rice...

looks like it's pelletized. Not sure. gypsum pellets are pretty small. I'd turn them into powder / dust to break them down faster. I've used gypsum pellets years ago. They take longer to break down. That was long before I started doing full no till or even knew what no till was. I was recycling...

You have a lot of unnecessary amendments. The bone meals and manures will make the soil run pretty hot. I'd mix it 50/50 with soil that has not been amended. I would water with compost teas and seed sprout tea to break every thing down faster plus add Bokashi and Bokashi will definitely speed...

    coconut powder turned into caramel!

look up toasted coconut flakes.. They were stored in too warm of a place probably.... Don't beat your dog. They don't understand what they did wrong. All you are doing is scaring the dog and making the dog afraid of you and less trusting. The best way to punish an animal is to take their food...

We don't test the ppm and ph of run off. It's irrelevant to living soil. We're not using salts (phosphates, nitrates, and phosphoric acid). Amendments are in the soil. The microbes feed on the amendments to make them readily available for uptake. The plant feeds what it wants when it wants...

Does this look like “clawing” to you?

No. Sounds like they're red spider mites. Broad mites are white. You need a scope or a loupe to see them. Red spider mites are 4 times larger than 2 spotted spider mites and harder to kill. Best option is what I said before. Dr. Zymes which is made from fermented citrus with potassium sorbate...
