I have a few volunteer plants that came up in the garden. They soldiered on through winter and survived, and now they're thriving quite nicely. One in particular, which I've confirmed to be a female, is going beast mode. Check out this fan leaf. For a size comparison, I don't have huge hands...

Perm's Perpetually Peeping Pistil & Plant Parade

I feel like intros are best kept short and sweet. Nothing will get me to exit a video quicker than a 30-60 second intro. That said, I didn't dislike any of them, but I think #1 is most fitting as an intro. Some nice editing...almost like it was done by a pro. ;)

Good thing you caught the SL watering issue. It'd be a damn shame to be that far along in flowering and lose them. Looking real nice in the SIP tent.

Thanks. I like tinkering, and this stuff really scratches my itch. My name is Jeb. Haha I love that guy. He's my inspiration for all things Kratky.

I've been talking about my peppers and how I'll be putting them into Kratky totes. I wanted to put together a post detailing what Kratky Method hydroponics is and how I set my system up. So, what is the Kratky Method of hydroponics? Simply put, it's deep water culture without aeration, the...

I'll make a mental note, if I mention something that seems off or wrong, I'll post a picture showing what I'm talking about. Ah, yes...the taco leaves. I had assumed that was related to the coco getting too dry previously. That's a plant that I'm keeping a closer eye on. There are 2 others that...

You can't actually see what I was referring to in the pics. It's very minor, and not even something that worries me. I'm not sure if this is what you're seeing, but some of the plants are still showing some stress from letting the coco get too dry. Humidity is generally low here always, but...

Looking good. I say keep the pics as they are. Keep up the good work.

So I was tinkering a bit in the grow tent, figured I'd post a few pics. First off, the ladies. They're doing well, overall pretty healthy. I have a couple that seem to be sensitive to something, so I'm keeping an eye on them. I need to get them into a larger area soon, I'm working on that...

Looks like a pH issue...you should flush.

You were spot on with this. I noticed a small amount of burned tips on some fan leaves, so I'll be backing off to 3ml/gallon. Easier to add more than to try and take it back. DG is some potent stuff.

Everything is going pretty ok. I got off to a slow start early on, but everything is pretty much back on track. Nothing too exciting just yet.

Yeah...I was like 170, that sounds pretty good...I wasn't thinking about pressure and maintaining a certain volume of water...you know, the only things you'd think about when sizing a pump. :wall: Not to worry though, I've got 800 gph pumps ordered, so I should have no problems going...

And by the way @Big Perm, digging the new avatar. Thank you for your service.

I don't know why I went with such a small pump, the price difference between the 170 gph I bought and a larger one was a couple dollars. I've just ordered the right pumps and will chalk it up to a lesson learned. I don't think there's any voodoo I could pull to make this pump work for my needs...

I posted this in the gardening forum, figured I'd throw it here too. My niece and nephew helped me throw together a quick drip system for the cucumber and melon plants. Doing this as a test case for the full garden, and found my pumps to be quite underpowered for the application. I'm done with...

    How Does Your Garden Grow??????

I can't believe I haven't taken the time to do a drip system before. It saves so much time...all I'll have to worry about is keeping my nutrient reservoir filled up and let the timer and pumps do the heavy lifting. Should be pretty sweet once I get it dialed in.

    How Does Your Garden Grow??????

I did a little quick and dirty drip system with my niece and nephew yesterday. This turned out to be a good test setup for my full garden plans as I found the pumps to be underpowered for what I need them to do.
