Well, we aren't going to be hearing from Joe for a while.I don't smoke often, but I do want to try it now that I've had a good month of cure time

Haha...you'll hear from me when I land back on Earth.Well, we aren't going to be hearing from Joe for a while.
Small tip, I'd come in at 1/3 to 1/2 strength until they start talkin'.I'll be following the feed schedule from here on, adjusting as necessary.
Thanks for the tip. They already had a full strength feed, so I'll see how they respond. So far, so good ~12 hrs later...Small tip, I'd come in at 1/3 to 1/2 strength until they start talkin.
Lookin goodI posted this in the gardening forum, figured I'd throw it here too.
My niece and nephew helped me throw together a quick drip system for the cucumber and melon plants. Doing this as a test case for the full garden, and found my pumps to be quite underpowered for the application.
I'm done with hand watering, especially when it needs to be done sometimes twice daily to keep the coco from drying out. I'll have this timer set to water 3-4 times daily and just sit back a let the plants grow, keeping the reservoir filled will be my main duty. Smarter, not harder.

Those smaller pumps are good, but you can't have much head. They say they are good for 3ft or whatever, but I've found about a foot of head max if you want to keep any pressure. Also, if you use smaller holes on a long run, you can lengthen your on time at the pump to compensate for the lower volume.found my pumps to be quite underpowered for the application.
I don't know why I went with such a small pump, the price difference between the 170 gph I bought and a larger one was a couple dollars. I've just ordered the right pumps and will chalk it up to a lesson learned. I don't think there's any voodoo I could pull to make this pump work for my needs in the garden...that said, I think it'd work fine to automate my indoor watering when I get the 2x4 set up.Those smaller pumps are good, but you can't have much head. oh wow. yeah, I thought you were talking about like a 400170 gph
Yeah...I was like 170, that sounds pretty good...I wasn't thinking about pressure and maintaining a certain volume of water...you know, the only things you'd think about when sizing a pump.oh wow. yeah, I thought you were talking about like a 400
You know???I'm digging the cups.
You were spot on with this. I noticed a small amount of burned tips on some fan leaves, so I'll be backing off to 3ml/gallon. Easier to add more than to try and take it back. DG is some potent stuff.Small tip, I'd come in at 1/3 to 1/2 strength until they start talkin'.
