    Terp teas by roots organics

First: They are the same, just different "names". Last week of veg and the first 4-5 of bloom. Mg sulfate -1.5 - 2 % solution at 10 ml per gallon of feed (make your own with 8 TBL of organic Epsom salts and 1.5 tsp of DARK brown sugar. Mix in 1 gallon of RO and shake to dissolve. Potassium...

Is this something to worry about?

Ok, sure thing kiddo.. Coming from the guy that tested them before they went public with them! I have a cpl of super hot pepper plants in in the large 20 gallon pots they sent me.... They are around 8 to 10 years old. Older one being the ghost and the Reaper is one too. The younger ones are...

    Terp teas by roots organics

OUCH! That's a pretty stiff amount of P and K to add! Even late bloom. Things you should know: P speeds up the finish. At the price of proper life cycle - If used too much. High K use? Will inhibit THC production! A lot more then many think. This is taken from Aurora's site on it...

Can compost teas be too strong?

That is a nutrient tea. They CAN be delivered too strong! Bio tea, is to add living bio counts to the soil to aide in nutrient use.... The use of Bio teas in as much as daily use. WILL reduce the need for nutrient use by at least 50%... I did this for a cpl of years. It was not the whole run...

THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT VPD RANGE YOU SHOULD USE.

Running at over/under the "suggested" VPD makes the plant either uptake faster or slows it down. By some minor manipulation of the VPD in bloom. I am "in effect", pushing them a bit. I do this to maximize the reaching for the potential's of the strain...

    Maximizing Terpenes??? How?

Been working on this for some years. Your best bet is to increase S levels. This is best done with Sulfate compounds.. I have found that different Sulfates, effect different terps. Like that the use of Mag Sulfate will effect the "Citrus" terps and Potassium Sulfates effect the grape terps...

    Dipping clones in Avid/spinosad/eagle 20?

Dip clones in BOTH (after letting them dry between things) Green Cure (light mix at 1 TBL per gallon max) AND Pyrethrin... I don't dip until rooted. I also hate cuttings. So, I only send rooted clones that have been dipped before shipping. I dip everything clone wise that comes in, FIRST...

Best Myco Fungi for the buck?

That's simple! Learn to make your own Bio tea's! Damn near free! Only the molasse's cost's money... NEVER add ANY kelp product (especially kelp meals) to ANY BIO tea run! It retards living bio counts by as much as 45-47%!

Is this something to worry about?

Fabric pots are built to "air prune" the roots from around the edge of the pot. Twixt about 1- 1.5 inch's.... In organic "water only" growing....... Your wasting up to and in some case's. Over 20% of your available nutrient rich soil.. If your getting rots out so far that you have to cut off...

Is this something to worry about?

First off. Hell yes! Why do I want to waste nutrient? Besides, the media dries out faster... Why won't that root mass get any benefit of the feed/water in the center? Why the hell are you watering to run off? In soil, you never run to run off. Simply water/feed the same metered amount...

    Recirculating co2

For what we are doing, and growing. Co2 in veg. wastes money as it reduces returns. It tends to make for longer stems and bigger node spacing... It does speed growth but, the cost of less node's alone kills the whole idea. Now then, If you have a green house full of poinsettia's? Go for it...

Advice first grow soil or coco

Back when I first started......The ground.....Ok, enough of that. I like Potters Gold, and when lazy... I use it as my base for building super soils. Another stand out soil would be, Dr. Earth's potting soil - gray, black and white bag. Fox farms Ocean Forrest works. I prefer to add a big...

    Recirculating co2

To many damn ways to measure light... At 48,240 lux of light. You have enough for 1300 ppm, barely. A 1 K HID doesn't reach that... A DE HID will. LED will _ the right one's! To actually be able to use 1500 ppm? 80,400 lux!

First try? SOIL!!! Much more forgiving.....

Is this something to worry about?

That is rather common. Not just for fabric pots either. Don't let your plants sit IN ANY run off! You can easily get nutrient balance issues and even pH issues. The plant "knows" there is "moisture" down there. They are stretching to get it. By the look of the plants....They don't need it...

I like an N value delivered at 6 or a bit more in veg. I only drop it to 4 in bloom... Good luck

Are these readings safe ? Feed vs run off

OK good show! You might want to add some Silica to any hydro run. Dyna Gro's is a go to Si product - (Protekt) Now then. Stick to what I said for pHing the feed mix to 5.8 - 5.9. Let your media dry down pretty good before feeding again.. Don't bother with run off metering... Adjust only...

    WHATS GOING ON HERE

First off. Answer my questions. What is the media? If soil, WHAT soil? List any modifications you may have done to the soil. What are you feeding? How much ? How often? Silica is NEVER useful in SOIL growing of Dicot plants! Cannabis IS a Dicot and Dicots get ALL the Silica they can use...

Are these readings safe ? Feed vs run off

What media are you growing in? Basically put; What ever "run-off" metering you take. YOU'R ONLY GETTING THE READING OF THE RUN OFF! Not the soil or media as for pH! You should also note that; EC of the run - off IS different then the EC of the liquid before being put in! pH your ingoing...
