Can Abiotic stress Elicitors make a difference (lets say yes)

@Kassiopeija I find the whole thing interesting. Like the OP and Kass has said. This is an old science of a sort. I looked at A cpl of these experiment's while in college. I wasn't terribly impressed but, what @harrythehat says and is doing. Is rather interesting. I might like to see plants...

    RO Water

You bring A nutrient mix in that favors that strains needs or wants. I'm also effecting the yield, bud formation and terpene's. I'm tailoring the soil to achieve results as close to the strain "potential" as you can. While easier to do in synthetic use (I do run a handful of synthetic plants...

    week 7 today

I might guess you have 2 to 3 weeks yet. This is a small end guess. Great Idea there! At the point where the mains have finished. Harvest them and lower the light and run 2 more weeks and harvest the rest. I do this as needed and on purpose with some strains. You'll find that those second...

Keep running it. Don't go by trich's alone! Learn to see when the pistils have receded into swollen calyx's. These are a better sign of a true finish.

    Rain water

Rainwater makes a fine water source! The use of a calcium carbonate based Ca/Mg is a good idea too.

The DIY light build, Bucket Company buckets , Jack's nutes, plus CO2 is like getting a gas pedal for your grow.

Use of Co2 in veg is NOT cost effective at any scale. Use of Co2 in BLOOM? Is by far - in smaller operations. At my scale? it's not actually worth the time and $ spent.. Use of Co2 in veg gets stretched out branching with less then desirable node spacing....

    RO Water

Just don't mix actual Epsom salts into any soil build, or use it directly on soil. Make it a measured solution first!

Mammoth P? What ever for???? Simply brew your own bio teas! Talk about saving money..... Build a soil is a great group. I find Kelp4less as another good organic source. Technically I build all my organic soils myself. In such I use oyster and eggshell as the Cal source. Non roasted...

Yellowing of top sugar leaves around the bud pictures?

You can't go by Trich's alone. Your looking at the top layer of new growth on that bud. Look deeper at it. All the pistils are colored and receded into calyx's. The new growth is simply stacking of calyx's on those beneath them. It's also foxtailing near the bottom of the bud. Not to mention...

#1: There's nothing "wrong" with it. Many are just positive that a minimum of 18 on is going to give you better bigger buds - The more light thing. When the plant is that far along. It doesn't matter any more. #2: You didn't screw up the feeding. He's incorrect - very.

    To flush, or not to.

Nature does supply a finish to plants (BUT NO FLUSH as you point out). As the temps drop. The increase uptake of available P. Speeds the plants finish. IF, you grow out doors and not in a climate suitable for a full finish? You will have immature material that won't compare to indoor grown...

Yellowing of top sugar leaves around the bud pictures?

Yeah, you should be pretty squared away in a week or 10 days. Many newer wizz bang strain's - especially long running sativa'sm new, or old! DON'T amber up much, and some? Not at all. You wait for the outer foxtailing to amber up. You'll run too long and the best part of the bud will have...
