Help, girls wont stop stretching, 28 days since flip

Thats pretty much my attitude. I want to do all my really noobie mistakes in my first grow. The last thing I want is to fail before harvest and then in my next grow make a noobie error during harvest. Would you try to repair that stem with duct tape?

Help, girls wont stop stretching, 28 days since flip

Ok, so super cropping is not for me. I just tied them to a tent pole instead. which seems almost as bad. This is my first grow so my only goal is finishing. Im tempted to chop her down to give the others room. Any advise?

Help, girls wont stop stretching, 28 days since flip

So its not too late to train them? If they're suple enough to bend with out super cropping I should do that , right? I only need to consider super cropping of they wont bend for me? Any danger of shock if I lst? How about super cropping, that seems bound to cause stress.

Hi guys, Theres 5 plants in the tent, one of them is taking over the whole tent and stretching for the light. Every day she gets an inch or two closer. Should I just bend all those tops? Im a clumsy bastard due to an injury, so anything too tricky will result in broken stems and damaged...

Would 4 3590 crees be enough for 2x2? And how much would an average build cost?

Damn , they are nice looking lights. Very desirable. These guys sell them http://growbox.pl/ 320w fixture costs €730 , 2.3€/W 240w , €640, 2.6 550w, €1280, 2.3 They seem decent value. Comparing them to a few other option on a €/W basis... to a kit, say...

CRI test and Mcree weighted results

Doesn't PPF give an unfair advantage to the 70 cri chips because it stops counting after 700? But we know (or do we?) that there's lots of useful light just above 700? So 90 cri has a big chunk of useful light uncounted by PPF. Any of that correct?

Stick one of those lux meter apps on your phone. one that saves history.turn off light, put phone in grow box, close phone box, get high powered tourch (or any light source) and try to get some light in to the box by hiting corners and seems. open box, check history. Alternative, set phone to...

    Running cxb3590 less than 50w?

Running more cobs softer will give less heat and more even spread allowing closer placement of light. It that correct?

Whats in the future to replace cree 3590.

Actually there's a interesting thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/new-vero-cob.912433/ discussing the new Vero. Hard to draw any hard conclusion yet. Having said that I have two of these babies on the way https://northerngrowlights.com/collections/all/products/photon-180clu1825 :twisted:

Whats in the future to replace cree 3590.

A little buyer's remorse is guaranteed with technology moving this fast . You might be waiting for months for a new chip to come out (boo, no light in the mean time), then you get chip (yay! best light ever)...then a month later a better chip is released. There's always going to be a slightly...

Best LED's in different price brackets?

If you're on a budget but have plenty of free time and want to learn about lighting, DIY is the only way to go. Its not even close.

Best LED's in different price brackets?

Headphones are almost the opposite to grow lights in "ease of review". You could review/test 10 headphones side by side in a day with minimal "external variables".

    Sixstring's Cob Build

With the other way you get better structural strength, the aluminum will cool the heat sink better, each 'bar' will have a much neater, slimer profile. Annnndd.. none of that will make any practical difference to your grow. Probably just my OCD kicking in. I honestly thought you'd say it was...

    Are these any good??

lol, you came in asking about a specfic bulb, one guy suggested building you own light and I suggested remodeling your living room . We tried!

    Are these any good??

its firmly stuck to the wall. you'd need to push the box up tight "into position". I know the stealthy weed smelling box heating up the living room with a fan vibrating inside it :)
