    Kind XL-750 LED

Has anybody stopped you from voicing your opinion? We're just disagreeing on what makes a light fixture worth recommending. Nobodies being silenced.

Northern Grow Lights TITAN w/ SST-X and Vero Gen7 72v 90 CRI Grow

Hey @robincnn , I asked this before but could you put two of those splayed heat sinks in a Photon case if you cut the top off thecase off to allow the pins to stick in the air. Or is the problem horizontal space ?

    Kind XL-750 LED

No dude , this isn't a "every bodies entitled to their own opinion" situation. Gavitas work fine, commercial led fixtures from companies like biofluecne work fine. DIY COBs as well of course. Here's an idea. Get any commercial grower in a legal state to replace their lights watt for watt with...

    Help me be Successful!

Only watts and efficiency matter not number of cobs ( roughly speaking). I think you'll be fine. If you runin to trouble you can dim the lights by a few percent while you wait for a bigger fan. Timber lights have a long sanding reputation around here of being 100% legit.

Northern Grow Lights Photon 180 Citizen 1825 90 CRI

That makes sense. Thank you. My tap water is pretty good anyway, < 100 PPM, and it tastes great. So yep, I'll skip the RO. Couldn't agree more. Its a great hobby to have. Im constantly surprised how enjoyable and satisfying the whole process has been. I've always had hobbies but an injury a...

Northern Grow Lights Photon 180 Citizen 1825 90 CRI

I see now why you were under so much pressure, those leaves look scary, is that due to flushing as well as the deficiency?

Northern Grow Lights Photon 180 Citizen 1825 90 CRI

Let us know what your roots are like when you harvest. Mine were in poor condition, not rot but close I think. I over reacted to the calmag issue with increased waterings and that lead to the root problems. This of course hurt the uptake of nutes. I underestimated how much water clay pebbles...

Can you have too much light?

Yeah, like what are they even basing that award on? Do they have a couple of dozen grows on the go to test lights each year? Maybe they have a integrating sphere in the office.

Can you have too much light?

I assume he means 16 x 16. I dont think 4 big panels and 6 UFOs would physically fit in a 4 x 4. Here's so many red flags from the site. No mention of diode maker or part number, same for drivers and fans. Bragging that they report Draw Watts vs Nominal Watts No mention on PAR/umoles etc...

    Any UK LED Guys here?

There no reason to buy cree cobs right now, especially considering vat. Bridge and citi both have better and cheaper cobs right now.

    The Irish Growers Thread!

Hey guys, I'm planning my 3rd indoor grow. I was in hydro with clay pebbles but I want to go full organic this time. I'd like to get some soil that would do the full grow with only a few additives needed. What do you think about these products from a dublin city center garden shop. I was...

    Most Efficient LED Light

But even comparative grows like yours aren't the full story. People have been honing their growing techniques for years under HPS. It wouldn't make sense to just replace your HPS with a cob fixture and keep air and heat management the same, that's unfair to the cobs. But then how do we do a...
