Yeah I know its not the bags, the run off through the bags is just a side effect of the pooling due to soil being hydrophobic. Love fabric pots in general

Just a question from someone looking to try growing in their backyard. Both would be grown in the same place in the backyard and would receive the same exposure to the sun. Thoughts?

Ive heard putting a towel underneath your plants while watering and letting the wet towel air-off the runoff works and helps keep up humidity in dry environments. Also much cheaper since I already have some. Would this also help prevent anaerobic risk?

The plant is decent sized 2ft at least. Did a recent transplant from a 3 gal. Still need to dial in the weight dryness on this pot I guess

It looks like the coco is retaining/holding the water much longer than the soil which is making me worried about overwatering, having to much moisture in medium.
