lol, most growers use lights to grow, i haven't heard of any worrying over this as an issue... but in the end, you make the choice. if i put my light 18" above my plants, they stretch.

true. i always flush it, even the pre-flushed stuff...

i run a 1000 watts, and it's usually 11" or so above the plants. if you have an air cooled hood, and your temps. are in step, no prob. (imo)

you really don't need to flush in coco, that's why you want to get run-off (15-20%) when you feed. you really need meters to do hydro properly.

you'd prob. be better off ph'ing the whole rez, once you remove/add water. just adding properly ph'd water prob. won't get it where you want it.

a starting ppm of 250, added to 900 is wayy too high. you don't need to change you light sched. but a lot of folks like to have some dark period. your new ph meter will be a big help. i'd back ur ppm down to 500 or so.

your temp. seems ok. ph could very well be the prob. did you scrub out the rez when you changed it out? how are your room temps. lights out?

what are you counting for???
