    Storage question

I typically hang my buds a few days, roll up in a paper bag a while to slow dring, and then jar with some burps for a few weeks. What I'm finding is after about a year the weed starts to smell funky and loses some potency, even though it's in a Kerr jar. I've been looking into either using one...

    Swollen empty seed pods? Done?

Yeah I'll let it go another week or two. Been struggling with the weather but so far no rot, and the good news is we'll have sun and highs in the upper 80's into the weekend. That should help push things over the finish line. Been feeding every watering Grow Big and Tiger Bloom at half the...

    Swollen empty seed pods? Done?

Thanks for your input. A lower branch broke off last Friday. Nuked it and sampled. Hard to tell if it's good since I had edibles or butter in me already after trying. BTW I know aside from this kind of thing quick drying sucks. But I wrapped the branch in paper towels and nuked it at half...

    Swollen empty seed pods? Done?

Never seen this before. Almost looks like a cluster of grapes. This is Tuscan Gelato, the other plants are different strains but don't have these. There are no seeds, I had thought this would need another week or 2 to ripen. Ready now or wait?

Guys please can this be a pH problem

You misunderstand (or I'm not wording thigs right). My water out of the tap is 7-8, but for just watering the soil buffers it so I don't adjust. I use FF Tiger Bloom during flowering, that's why it tests red.I then use PH Up to get it into the 6-7 range before feeding

Guys please can this be a pH problem

Oh hell no! :) I adjust with PH up from that point until it's a yellowish-green

    Caterpillars?

You mean Spinosad? You can use it in flower on buds, I've done it for years. The only concern is some states won't allow (legal) sales if it test for spinosad. Not a concern if you're not growing commercially for sale. There has not been any evidence of spinosad being harmful to humans and most...

Looking for photos of budworm eggs on cannabis

Growing outdoors I see a fair amount of bugs, and I generally keep them under control. I'd like to be able to recognize budworms eggs when I inspect so I can a) pick them off, and b) know the plant needs another spray of spinosad. I've seen an apparent egg hanging off the plant on what looks...

Do outdoor plants get humidity problems ? Same with things like heat/light stress

You mean 95dg Fahrenheit? Plants can easily handle that heat. It can get 110dg here in the summer, plants love it as long as they are watered well

Help my blue dream is turning yellow

It's normal for some yellowing as a plant flowers, but this looks more like a nitrogen deficiency. What/how often are you feeding?

Confused? about daylight time savings this October

Two things: You don't need an extra plug for your timer. I've always used the cheap plastic dial ones, plug THAT into the socket the light is plugged into and then plug the light cord into the timer. But I'm not sure why you are stressed about the time change. The plants don't know what the...

    Anyone in Norcal flowering yet?

Plants are in the back yard and I have a day room, covered patio with screens and a door. I just move them in there when it rains, it's only a few feet from where they are. Even so I've gotten rot because of moisture in the air and occasional budworm - although weekly spraying with spinosad has...

    Are these ready for harvest?

Should wait another few weeks, mine are at a similar stage to yours. Don't worry about trichs, bad way to judge ripeness, some plants trichs never turn amber. You still have white pistils, you want those to turn orange and recede into the bud as the bud swells
