Issues with just a single leaf?

I've been fighting calmag deficiency from The beginning. I have Calmag plus which is 4-0-0 and my Master's pack came with Elemental. I will go with just water today and see how it looks over the next day or two.

Issues with just a single leaf?

Hey guys, I just poked in to check on the garden and noticed that one single leaf on One of my plants is trying to tell me something. I don't see any sign of any other stress besides this one weird leaf. I just fed a half dose of the master's pack from root Organics 4 days ago and was planning...

Advice for COB 3'x5' flower room.

That looks awesome!! Why driver are you using for these 5? What do you plan on doing with the 72s My package from mike is on the way! I opted for Vero COBs, but went with the same heatsinks as you. Hoping I can get mine together in 4 hours. That would be great

I believe the maximum output voltage for that driver is 144 volts. 4 36 volt chips puts you right at this number. I'm not an expert, but I'm not sure you want to cut it that close. 240 h 1400 might have been a better option

Are you pushing 76 volt chips @ 2100? That must be crazy bright! And easy to expand

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I obviously came to the wrong place looking for opinions lol. Yes, I agree that the addition of quantum boards would be way too much light, but without them I will have a lot of control over how much light the plant canopy actually sees. Absolute worst case scenario is I go ahead and buy my...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I'm not offended. I considered running @1050 to get me down to 240 watts, but why? I can always slightly dim or raise the light if it seems excessive. This also opens the door for C02 experimentation down the road. I've been researching for weeks, and chose my 6 COB rectangular design over the 4...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

lmao NO,I am not going to listen to your opinion over 20 others. 300w of COB is not too much light for 6.5 square feet, especially not spaced over a foot apart with a dimmer that I can use any time. These quantum boards are nice and all but relax, you aren't going to scare me into buying one...

    The COB club

If you are wiring in Series add the total voltage of your chips. For example Vero 29 D bin is a 36 V chip. Since I am runnin 6 this would be ~216 volts. When you look at your driver specs there will be an output voltage range. Stay within this range and you will be golden. 320 h 1400 b has an...

Advice for COB 3'x5' flower room.

Mike also just added the gen 7 veros (36v 3500k 80cri) and has pin heatsinks. He offers a 200 watt 3xVero kit with heatsink and driver for $225 as well. Really great prices and products from this guy, and fast shipping from CA. He will have the SE version with built in holder and poke in...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Yea I'm going to skip the boards for now and just run the 6 veros. They are only 36v so @1400 I'll be at about 300w, slightly less than 50w per sq ft and I'll have one cob perfectly centered in each sq ft. If I do decide to add to my spectrum, I have this idea as well with hortilux t5s. I...

    Super Noob Light Design

If you ran 72v chips @ 1050, you'd be up around 900 watts, but I believe you would need 3 drivers to do this

    Super Noob Light Design

For 16 square feet, 500-750w would be recommended. As long as your drive the 12 36v chips @ at least 1050, you'll be over 480 and 12 spaced evenly over the 4x4 area should be perfect. I'd recommend driving them @1400 which would put you at 600 watts. Depending on the actual chip, this should be...
