    Tent sucking in

I don't know what Rhino Pro is, when i look it up I get links to carbon filters. If your tent has too much negative pressure can you put a speed controller on the fan to slow it down? Do you have an intake fan and exhaust fan? Maybe use the lower power fan for exhaust, then just have passive...

    growing indoors and outdoors

I have plants that I put outside on the back deck when the weathers nice then move inside at night, if the weathers bad i will turn on my 400 watt hps inside instead of putting them outside, the plants are fine. If I go from sunlight outside directly to the light inside the plants appears to...

Black berry kush leaves starting to turn yellow help

I would feed with mega crop, 2g/gallon and see how it does. I have some plants that sprouted April 12th in 0.05-0.0-0.0 potting soil and have been feeding with 2g/gallon of Mega Crop and it's so green I don't see a need to up the dose, it's good stuff.

Should I move plants each day to get more sunlight?

I have plants on my back deck and the way the sun hits I line them up along the southern side in the morning then by the afternoon the sun has moved so I move them to the western side. Also at night and when the weathers bad i put them inside. Just be careful moving them and I have had no...

    Helpppppp me

It's up to you, the larger the roots are allowed to grow generally the healthier and stronger the plant. From experience with past grows i know a 5 gallon container is a good size for the size of plants i grow, easy to move and holds enough water so im not constantly watering. If youre going...

    Power strips

Be careful with power strips and extension cords in general, the only time I ever had a power strip fail was the one hooked up inside my grow closet. I happen to be home when it failed, everything in my house started flickering and then there was a loud pop, flash of light, followed by a...

How long to veg with seeds

It's up to you. I usually flip to flower when the plants are about 1/2 the size I want them to finish at because they usually double in size, for me anyways. I'm constantly moving them outside during the day to inside at night so i like them a manageable size getting through the door.

Just flipped to flower! Any tips or things to look for?

Photos? The main thing i do when it's flowering is to trim some of the bottom branches and bud sites that I know will not develop into good bud, i'll trim so hopefully more of the plants energy will go to the top buds that receive the most sun.

    Soil and perlite

The potting soil I use, Black Gold 0.05-0.0-0.0 appears to have a large amount of perlite in it, I noticed my plants appear to grow better/healthier with it compared with a previous brand without much perlite in it. The soil seems to not get as compacted over time with watering. I believe the...

Should i insulate my tent or whole loft space

I'm thinking insulating the tents will hold the heat in more. I use a large closet off my livingroom to grow in and in summer the temps sky rocket, i'm too cheap to buy an ac so instead when the grow lights are on I will have the closet door wide open with a large fan blowing inside, it still...

    Whats going on here...

are they getting enough water, when you water are you using enough to allow for run off? I would try giving them a good watering with plenty of run off.

Pistels turning brown - 5 weeks flowering

Here's what mine looks like, it's a Lemon Auto, no signs of being a hermie. I put it outside on the deck when its sunny and inside under 400 watt hps when the weathers bad.

    Soil and perlite

I buy potting soil with it already mixed in, i've read people use 10-50% perlite mixed together with soil/coco. You want to mix it all together, not layered. it's for helping with drainage keeping the medium light.

Pistels turning brown - 5 weeks flowering

I noticed the same thing on my lemon auto plant, so far it's on just one of the plants and it's on buds towards the bottom of the plant not at the top where i would think receives the most sun. It happened last year also with the same strain, lemon auto. I don't yet have an answer, but I don't...

    when should i start triming

I wouldnt trim anything, the plant will utilize those leaves and they will fall off on there own. If you notice one side of the plants branches are growing longer than the other you can rotate that side towards the sun, I do that with mine on the back deck. Since you have two plants you can...

    When Should I Start Nutrients?

The plants look good. I would start using the nutes as soon as you get them, start with a small amount and see how the plants look after. Be sure to water the whole container and not just near the middle, let the soil dry out before watering again. I use 5 gallon grow bags and will water...

    advice on how to proceed

Yes, after 1 year and a half the carbon filter appears to still be working at getting rid of the smell. For being the least expensive set-up the IPower equipment have given me zero issues so far.

    2020 MASSACHUSETTS outdoor grow Thread!

One of the main things to look for is drainage, you dont want the roots sitting in water logged soil. After digging the hole fill with water and see how long it takes to drain, if its slow dig it bigger. If it were me I would make them larger than 16" if the soil is questionable. I found a...

    advice on how to proceed

I have an 8" IPower filter/fan from Amazon and I think it's great, it's been running almost non-stop for about 1 1/2yrs and cannot smell anything coming out the exhaust vent. My 400 watt hps light is IPower also, runs great and getting my moneys worth.

    Clawed leaves

No idea whats in it, just says can feed up to 6 weeks. I wouldnt feed again until the plant looks like it needs it, your leaves are on the darker green side i would say its good for now. Try getting potting soil where the ingredients are at least listed so you know what to add as it grows.
