Until the first true leaves form they won’t need ANY food... they are using stored energy from their seed still... and the first couple weeks after that will get enough nutes from any decent soil
The leaves don't HAVE to be yellow to harvest. Have you checked ripeness of the trichomes? I'd be more worried about letting it go too long with this... once they're mostly amber you've basically let your weed overripen into sleeping medicine.
Looking at your plants, the nitrogen excess would be my concern. Judging by the new growth and how dark green the leaves are you need to cut back feeding A LOT.
What kind of soil are you using? Nutrients? Watering schedule?
I can't wait to take my first US made high power light (HLG 600 I just ordered) for a ride. Hope my harvest turns out as bountiful!!! Like @Northwood said, I bet those buds will be easier to trim!
Nice, I'd love to swap my lights and hope that I get some added benefit from doubling the wattage in the last 3 weeks of flower. My current light is about 46% as power as the HLG so I'll start around 50% and crank it up a bit over the next week.
You obviously haven’t looked at my setup (all that is done already). It’s not a matter of too much negative pressure. Most 4x4 tents are actually like 46/47” from support to support on the inside without any pressure. It’s the biggest issue I see with the strip builds- 44.1” for the strip before...
Almost all- I was checking it out but it's 47" long. The light would make constant contact with the walls of my tent.
(also, already ordered the light)
Opted for the HLG 600 even though it's a little more than an equivalent DIY option... 721 out the door no tax/shipping is solid. Plug and play, saves me the time of jacking with framing out the other lights.
Mostly the decision was made due to warrantee. I'm working on starting my own...
Your problem is the mix, that's way to hot and heavy for something that sensitive. IDK what I'd do at this point, transplanting is just gonna add more stress but you need a much lighter, mellow mix for this phase of growth. Live and learn ;-)
Anything that says "soil + fertilizer" is gonna be WAAAAY too hot for seedlings/clones. I do plain coco coir or biobizz light mix. Black gold seedling soil is also pretty solid...
What soil mix? How old are the seedlings and clones? At a guess you put them in something fairly hot that burned the roots but without knowing what you're using....
(I germinate in Biobizz light mix or pure coco coir)
Oh damn you're right, assumed since they were US based they'd have to charge tax. I love supporting my LGS but not at the tune of 10.5% sales tax extra for the same US made product
