    organic hydro?

i haven't read the replies, and dont plan to, so someone may have already stated this... but you can put coco liners in your mesh pots in hydro, fill them with soil, and water from the top with nutrients when you want to feed. DO NOT water so much that the water drains through to the resevoir.

    Use the righ fucking name!

The original post is hilarious! I love when people stand up for Subcool's smoke and mirrors routine! Makes me laugh every time.

    Cubing, Preserving Elite Genetic Lines

Sub, any plans to actually cube some of your gear (the A-13 you weren't supposed to breed with, perhaps?), instead of just making one off crosses and then bx's with limited seeds being sprouted? I guess what I'm asking is, are you going to step up to the big boy game of breeding and sprout...

Oriah's Garden - SuperSoil TGA perpetual medical SCROG

Not to discredit your amazing grow, but a true scrog will have a rigid screen, with small holes. A loose, flexible screen does nothing in SCRoG terms, it only holds up the buds for when they are heavy and want to fall over. A true scrog screen will be rigid to control height, and to distribute...

    Should i topdress?

could be a magnesium deficiency if they are showing purple on the stem. but to answer your question...NO, DO NOT TOPDRESS NOW! It will surely give your buds the "black burn" when you smoke them. Nobody wants that. Shoot for the white ash, not the black ash, by not feeding your plants past day...

    Super Coco public test thread

The only part I have in the soil is making the composted bark with sea faring fish. The composted bark is then put into the mix that Chris (Super Coco guy) mixes up. He was trying to get people to test it our for themselves, as to create a little internet hype...but that plan was derailed when...

TCurtiss @ Dankland aka Sub's house

Damn, what's next? he's gonna be too busy to breed? wait a minute...hahahah, I think he IS too busy making one off crosses to breed!

    TGA Soil Is The Shit!!!

Look for Super Coco. I've been testing this bagged soil and I couldn't be happier. They should be available through their website soon, as I understand it.

    Super Coco public test thread

Never had such an easy grow, as I have with Super Coco! That should be the motto of this brand! haha My plants are perfect looking. Sick trich production, sweet sweet smells, big ole chunky buds...what else do you want? Watered with 6.0-6.2 pH water, and nothing more.

    First Super Soil Grow Issues

I would bet a million dollars that that is too much moisture on a consistent basis. Let the plant dry out really well, and then water it. Your leaves will not "bounce back" to looking normal, but healthy leaves will not continue to curl like that if you back off on watering so frequently...

Super soil is good. But is it really the best?

I think one misconception about "super soil" varieties is that the plant will uptake whatever is in the soil right away. Blood meal is available immediately, to counter what someone said above...but a plant only uses what it wants, in properly balanced soil mediums. You can ramp the nutes up...

who has used nectar for the gods before?

its the name of Harvest Moon's national brand. Best bottled nutrients you can buy. Have been using them since around '07 or so. Just switched to Super Coco, however, and its way way easier with just as good of results.

Oregon Diesel The perfect PNW Plant?

you guys act like whatever subcool says goes. I guess you've never seen him go back on his "word" which is about as solid as a newborn baby's shit. If there is a forum, use it for whatever kind of comment you feel is appropriate. Sure, call it hating. I hate subcool, so you might as well say...

Oregon Diesel The perfect PNW Plant?

$100 says sub ends up crossing it to something in an attempt to have a TRUE outdoor strain. Not like his current strains, that would need another 2006 weather season to be considered a decent outdoor strain.

    Legit matanuska thunderfuck??

When I lived in Oregon, I saw a strain they called matanuska thunderfuck. It flowered early, had an astringent smell, and made chunky, though light, buds. I would guess it's a ruderalis cross, based on the high and schwaggy smell it creates when burned

Fan Leafs. Blockers of Light Or Energy Producers???

I believe I read that fan leaves account for around 90% of the plants energy converting capabilities. I ALWAYS prefer to bend a leaf over removing it...however, sometimes it is necessary to remove A FEW leaves. I wouldn't strip my plant down to just buds though...thats not good.

    Critique my Soil Idea

sounds like a lot of adding this and that after your plant is already in the pot. The fertilizers you are adding are liquid? Why don't you just get dry amendments for the soil, mix them all in, and let her rip?! why do you layer the soil? also, why do you transplant them AFTER you get them to...

Soil Debate - FoxFarm vs Roots

Both are overhyped. If you're looking for a quality bag of nutrients...you know what they say. "if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself" Hopefully Super Coco will be on the market soon, for all the people looking for a true bag of "super" type soil that requires no feeding...
