Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

@calvin.m16 I don't see any feed charts for 20-20-20 Classic on Jack's website. Do you think it would be safe to substitute another Jack's product's feed schedule like Thanks for the suggestion @DrBuzzFarmer If I mixed this up with coco in a 7 gallon fabric pot and grew a single plant, how...

Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

This looks interesting. It's certainly simple enough. If I understand the product literature, all I have to do is mix the Base product with coco, keep it moist and let it sit for a couple of weeks to cook. Have you actually used this stuff (in coco coir)?

Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

This is where I would eventually like to be. I think for this (outdoor) grow, I'll stick with FFOF and some worm castings. Nice and simple.

Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

@Rurumo That sounds reasonable. Should I just add the ppm of the water to the ppm of the nutes? For example, if the ppm of the tap water is 300ppm and my target nutrient ppm is 800, should I just set the target ppm to 1100? I have to use tap water.

Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

Hypothetically, if I started out at 1/4 strength and watered 1 quart per plant and the plants responded well, then I would up the strength (slightly) when the plants needed more water, say 2 quarts per plant. How could such a process cause problems?

Lazy Man Wants to Use Coco....

I like things to be simple, but I want to use coco coir. I will take the time to pre-soak the coco in a strong calmag solution to prep it, but after that I don’t want to measure anything except the ph of the water. Do any of you growers use Jack’s Classic 20-20-20 fertilizer to grow weed in...

Question for experienced growers about light cycle.

@bam0813 What products do you use for such a regime? I think I remember you saying you reside along the US Gulf coast, as do I. So, we probably face similar environmental conditions.

Question for experienced growers about light cycle.

@bam0813 Do you mean slowly acclimate them to natural sunlight? If so, I'm already doing that now by sitting them outside for a couple of hours each afternoon. I'll increase that time as they age.

Question for experienced growers about light cycle.

I have week old seedlings growing under a quantum board with an 18-6 light cycle. I will move these plant outdoors at the end of May for the duration of their lives. Will the change in light cycle from 18-6 (indoors) to 14-10 (outdoors) cause these plants to flower, or is the 14 hours of light...

Indica on the US Gulf Coast?

Thanks @injinji I'll keep that in mind. All the seeds I currently have were purchased from larger seed banks. I'm hoping that from the 9 or 10 different seed strains I have, at least a couple will perform well in heat and humidity. By the way @BudmanTX, Hurricane Harvey dropped 34" of rain...
