Question for experienced growers about light cycle.

I have week old seedlings growing under a quantum board with an 18-6 light cycle. I will move these plant outdoors at the end of May for the duration of their lives. Will the change in light cycle from 18-6 (indoors) to 14-10 (outdoors) cause these plants to flower, or is the 14 hours of light still enough to keep them in veg even though they will sense a four hour reduction in daylight? The summer solstice will still be another 3-4 weeks in the future when I put them outdoors. Thanks for your input.

Some sensitive strains may trigger, The first of may i would drop to 16-8 to make sure not to stress.

Started my seeds the last week of Feb. kept them indoors in solo cups under 6,500k full spectrum bulbs 18/6.
After 3 weeks I transplanted to 1 gallon pots in my super soil, topped most of them and moved them into my greenhouse where they get about 10hours of natural light and 3.5 hours before sunrise and 3.5 hours after sunset of supplemental lighting from a Kind XL 750 LED I’m heating the greenhouse with a small heater and keep it above 45 at night. I’ll cut the heater at night in May.
I generally go outdoors with them anytime after May 15. I’m northern Oregon 45N 95373829-946F-49AA-B554-6805F622F577.jpeg

I used to use 18/6, but now I use 12 on, 5.5 off, 1 on, 5.5 off, repeat. I find the 12 hours lines up with the sun cycle better. The hour in the middle of the night keeps them in veg. Plants are the same, but I use a lot less electricity.

I’ve been super lucky the past two years. I have not sprayed anything on my plants. No pests at all!
I do put neem seed meal in my soil mix and plant marigolds around the base of my plants. In mid August I put Andersoni sachets in the plants as a preventative during flower.
how much neem seed meal do you mix in?
