what strain is it? as for the bud size, some strains flower longer than others but if your roots are small ur buds will also be small, ur entire plant reminds me of olive oil:-P lol..........but be patient she could progress soon

I heard of a technique here on riu (never tried it but....) cutting half of the leaf to prevent blocking light to buds or even better, cutting the middle leaf. I heard it causes less stress and lets ur foilage still recieve the light it needs

will cutting off middle leaves harm the plants bud growth or stress the plant at all?

yep, early harvest technique!. you could even keep the plants outside near a porch light etc., add a cfl to it depending on distance and how many plants. that should keep you in veg. . just dont expose any of that porch light to your flowering plants
