Thanks man. But they're doing the work not me; I just make sure the lights turns on and off and that they are well fed. The purpling is because of the low temps, the wilting and yellowing and ph burns is what I don't like

I have two mag ballasts and none of them ever made a sound. Tbh I see no downsides to using magnetic ballasts for DWC I imagine you ph to 5.5 and allow it to rise up to about 5.8-6. That way the plant has access to all nutrients

never had any noise coming from the ballast. that's odd. ph is hydro ph. 5.5-6.2
