    Sous vide for decarboxylation?

There have been a lot of similar tests. I prefer NOT to fully decarb my weed before baking for the simple reason that, after decarb, I infuse it into butter for an additional 3 hours at approx 200 - 212 degrees, then bake into brownies for another 30 minutes at 350 degrees. IMHO, if you fully...

    Cannabutter made plain and simple.

That's pretty close to what I do but I use a double boiler rather than put the butter and bud in the water. I'm not sure why you're concerned about the boiling water temperature. By definition, if your water gets above 212 degrees F, it turns to steam. Any water that hasn't turned to steam will...

Did I make my butter to dank?

An ounce of bud to a lb of butter (2 cubes) seems a tad bit aggressive but it's not overkill, I typically use 7 - 10 grams per cube. A 3" x 3" brownie seems kind of big unless it's paper thin. So eating a big fat bomber brownie loaded with high quality bud would probably over-fuck-up most of us...

Do I really need to decarb if I'm making butter?

Remember decarbing for tinctures, which of course will NOT be heated again, will be different than decarbing for edibles that will be heated again. If you put fully decarbed leaf or kief in brownies for example, you risk breaking down THC during the brownie cooking process. IMHO - decarb in the...

Do I really need to decarb if I'm making butter?

Sorry to say but this is absolutely and completely wrong, it's far too long to decarb and you'll be breaking down and therefore losing THC. You'll also be risking a trip to the hospital to remove 240 degree broken glass from your body. Yes you should decarb. Chop up your buds, put it on a...

    Outdoors under 4ft tall?

The pots I use are less than 1 foot tall, which I set down in about a 3" deep hole. My plants have generally grown to about 5.5' which includes the pot. I've thought about using 10 gallon pots to see if I can get them bushier but so far the 7.5 gallon have worked well for my space.

    Air tight storage

If the lids are on tight and you hear the vacuum seal break when you pry off the top, the smell is not coming from 'inside' the jar. I agree with tstick above. Wash out the cooler with soapy water and bleach, then wipe down the sealed jars. Let everything dry thoroughly, then put the jars back...

    Think she's ready!

Let those long white hairs darken and recede and you'll be ready to pull, maybe 2 weeks. If you're getting anxious and can't wait, clip the 'ripest' bud and hang it to dry, then see what you got.

    smell masking

As suggested earlier, LOTS of manure helps. If you have a dog or cat, you can also collect their shit and pile it in a couple of places around your garden area. I thought one guy had a great idea. During the last 2 - 3 weeks when the smell is strongest, look for a roadkill skunk and deposit him...

    Outdoors under 4ft tall?

I use 7.5 gallon pots to keep the plants under fence line height, due to proximity of one of my neighbors. I purchase dispensary clones and pot them outside around 5/15. The space I have to grow in only gets about 4 - 5 hours of direct sun per day. They consistently top out at about 4.5 to 5...

You might as well pull it up, unless you want the seeds.

Best Time To Plant Outdoors in California??

In the Bay Area, there's no reason NOT to have clones planted outside by 5/15.

    high elevation gorilla grow!!

Good luck growing at that elevation. If you're actually above 9000', chances are you'll be above the tree line so you'll need to worry about hiding your plants if you don't want to lose them. And anything green growing that high will attract the attention of any herbivores that might want to...

What species of marijuana is my plant

It looks like it's time to move that plant to a bigger pot. Be sure to read up on what organic nutrients are recommended and keep an eye on your plant for pests. Most importantly, if you want the best smell and taste, you'll need to harvest at the best time, then dry and cure correctly. Keep...

First outdoor grow - Sativa confusion

As long as she has long white straight hairs standing up, she's not ready. I'd say at least 2 - 3 weeks minimum. How's your weather, still dry and warm/hot during the days?

Help with outdoor grow flowering early, outdoor lights question

Either bring them back indoors under lights (assuming they're in pots) or start over again. I can't imagine any scenario where rigging up grow lights to light a guerrilla grow in the forest turns out well for you.

My girl is flowering nicely. Thoughts?

I think anyone who either doesn't replace the toilet roll or puts it on backwards so that it dispenses in back by the wall instead of over the top and in front should be hung by their gonads with piano wire. And that goes for women too. Unless you have a fucking obnoxious cat - Otherwise...

What's a fair split for using someone land?

The 50/50 split of the proceeds for the use of her land vs. your labor seems fair enough. I'd approach her with the nutes question by saying - "We can double our yields, meaning more bud/better quality medicine for our customers, if we invest $500 - $1000 in the best nutrients for our plants...
