Your logic is flawed. Hps=more ir, which in turn creates more heat, raising the ambient temp. Basic stuff here.

I don't see that being true. That sounds like bro science. The sun puts out ir, we feel heat from it, and other vibrations. But outside, there are a ton of factors that determine how a plant reacts to the sun's rays. Hps are about as hot as grow lights get, and ir is a culprit. I'll look, but I...
