honestly the production isn't there with that light IMOP... the plants not looking bad .. but if your at week 4 your gonna be slightly unhappy when you dry and cure with the overall production and time you put in.

yeah bags can be a pain when lifting and holding them.. I've never used the tubs but I'm sure someone here will have hopefully they see the post... or maybe someone knows a bit more.. i am curious to know how the mesh is bound to the plastic because id be worried about them eventually giving to...

they don't state on the website its a PH adjusted medium thats more than likely your problem

i think it does personally when scraping them clean but it does take longer to drain

ocean forest is ph adjusted you shouldn't need to adjust the PH levels of the water with it.

well fox farms ocean forest really should be cut for seedlings ... but what is your taps ph? its not really crazy high like 8.0 is it? as long as the tap ph isn't way high its probably the strength of the soil.

the original true bubble bags are the same way basically water only flows down when you get to the last few screens on a big bubble bag run you sit and wait and wait and wait for the last two bags to drain out.. the newer style bags are mesh all around so they drain easier. I'm still a bubble...

or you could be like where i live and have not a single freaking tree around the house anywhere.. we face east and west but the sun breaks over my roof about 10 am an beats on the house all day.. so all my past porch grows were good... not as good as being out in the open area but worth doing.

depends a bit on the way your balcony faces if your only getting a morning or afternoon sun your grow isn't going to be amazing.. its best if your balcony faces N or S and the sun rises and sets over the balcony.. but if your balcony faces E or W it can be a little less appealing to do a balcony...
