    Spider mites on unrooted cuttings

I would get them far from my grow room first. Unless they are some amazing strain I would toss them and kindly ask my friend not to bring over infested plants.

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

Hope you have a great harvest. I wouldn’t put the trim in the cooler, but then I rarely have room for the buds. If it’s not crowded it should be ok. Just not too thick a layer.

    PPFD and distance

If ppfd is equal, the higher the light the bigger the footprint covered by the light as well.

Will this be ok or should i break them up. First time drying

Don’t sweat it too much, just make sure you have decent air movement but not blowing directly on buds. The less they touch each other the quicker and more evenly they will dry, which is why removing the fan leaves helps. Moisture is also contained in the stems and fan leaves, so they will...

Will this be ok or should i break them up. First time drying

I would remove the fan leaves as previously suggested unless you are in a dry environment. If your rh is below 50 perhaps leave them on, but it will help open up some air flow. A fan not blowing directly on the plants but just moving the air will help as well.

    SIP’n with Hook Daddy

It’s already 5 weeks later and it’s time to flip the lights. First off I am not happy to report that BOO didn’t make it. I’m not sure what happened, I put her in the sip and nothing, no growth at all. Everyone else took off, I even put the golden Tiger in the same sip, same soil and everything...

Experienced Grower Seeking Advice on Budget-Friendly Lights for Cannabis Setup

Now that I have stopped laughing after reading the description on Amazon of the above light, I’ll add my 2 cents. If I were to buy a small all around light as my only light the ViparSpectra xs1500 that @Rocket Soul recommended would be my first choice. The one above from, yes Nail Girls, is...

New here. This is my golden tiger grow

Those are looking great. I have a golden Tiger and 2 Malawi going this grow, getting ready to flip to flower soon. It’s been a while since I grew sativas with such a long flower time, I hope they turn out as nice as yours!

As far as bands from up north, I’ve seen both Rush and Triumph several times in concert, but that was back in the 80’s, maybe even late 70’s. Both good bands for their time, esp when you figured in there were only 3 members in each. I found it funny they formed in the same area at about then...

I’ve had it about that full before, your settings should be good, just step down slowly the first few days, and watch the drip tray it will fill up multiple times daily. Looks like a nice harvest!

    cigar refrigerator?

Its humidity range is also very limited, from 65% to 75%. It’s possible it would somewhat work, but these are usually not to pull lots of moisture out but to keep things stable. And it’s more expensive than building one of the koolatrons.

I didn’t really test any other position than my original one, which was about half way up level with the bottom of the fan I guess. There’s pictures in the thread of exact positions. I mounted it on the right side looking from the front. It was mounted so it was just below the shelf above but...

I have never heard of anyone getting mold in one of these, and unless there was already mold in the buds it would be quite difficult to start. The dehumidifier is more than capable of removing the moisture too fast if you want it to, I keep it slow so the dry takes 2-3 weeks.

Looks like everything is working as it should, just keep slowly dropping the rh until around 60%, then let it ride for a couple weeks or so if you have the time.

Glad to hear it’s working well for you, it definitely changes the drying and curing process from one that I dreaded to the easiest part of the whole grow. Let me know what you think of the smell and taste once you fire some up.
