    600w Viparspectra Help

No one would make a grow light that did not allow you to run it at full power. The lights are stronger than they appear both because their beam is more focussed and also blue and red do not appear as bright.

    New technique for vaping rosin

Yeah but it's not just the mess, by suspending in cotton you get the full flavour, it's like the rosin sublimates instead of boiling. And the wispy bits of cotton will keep the main ball off the sides of the basket. This is with my very sticky rosin, with an easier to handle concentrate this...

    New technique for vaping rosin

Oh yes I am definitely saying they are better than the extract pads because they are metal and the oil simply drips off them into the bottom of the oven no matter how little amount you put it. The cotton on the other hand sort of suspends the rosin so and it does not even drip out it just stays...

Do I need lecithin in my rosin oil

Apparently the answer is no. I put it in the fridge and it solidified. Tried 1.5g and that pretty well put me out of commission for 8 hours. I was a little concerned because I put the beaker in the oven to decarb, there was not a lot of foaming just some around the edges, and I lost .5g 4.5 went...

Do I need lecithin in my rosin oil

I decarbed 4.5g of rosin and then added 40ml of coconut oil, now I have a little beaker containing 40ml or so of infused oil. I figure about 1ml would be a 'standard' dose. It's such a small amount that I could put it on anything without even noticing however I'm not sure whether to use it like...

    Which Extraction Method Tastes Better?

Let me put it this way, I have extracted rosin using my Slug33 Fat Mac, and smoking the rosin was the same flavour as smoking the bud. Sometimes I'll just keep on vaping at a very low temp just because it tastes so good. This may be a bit of a surprise because it does not look like it would be...

    600w Viparspectra Help

I'm not a soil person so I'll leave that to others, hydro and autos are a match made in heaven. Actually I had the PAR700W yeah it had 3 dimmable controls for red white and blue and I can tell you don't get too caught up in worrying about spectrum or height as long as you don't go too close...

    600w Viparspectra Help

Yeah they look awesome. You can check out my very first auto grow which was the OG Kush that you can find at the grow diaries link in my sig, I used a viparspectra 600W funnily enough, I pretty well just drew on my own past experience. Check out the day 50 scrog, it's looks pretty dire, I...

Correct that is not a problem, and it is not an indication of a problem. You will be told endless bullshit, get used to it, best to take advice from people who can show you the money. It's all very confusing now and you may think everyone knows what they are doing but mostly it's just pretence...

    HLG 100 V2 or QB96 Elite V2 in 2x2 tent?

I like the QB96's but I've also been impressed with the performance and footprint of the new Mars TS2000L so if you are looking for plug and play and cheap price no frills but good performance then the Mars is worth considering too. You can see it in action in my DIY shallow water culture grow.

New to growing and thinking of going DWC? Don't

I advocate a variation of a DWC which is my version of an SWC, then I also point to it with detailed instructions on build as well as a detailed reasoning for each and every part, for example the square tubs lend themselves to a self supporting scrog, and so on. The link is in my sig...

Another "how long to go..." thread

It's well worth getting a lot of practice at this. It can sometimes indicate a problem that's about to burst and everything has to come down immediately or sometimes it might be a very local cause like a single rotting leaf.

Looks ready. These are cheap and work well at 30x 60x gives a small field but still a decent image. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30x-60x-Magnifying-Glass-LED-Light-Magnifier-Jeweller-Eye-Jewelry-Loupe-Loop/233193832374

    Extracts or concentrates?

I guess they'll all get you ripped so then it's all about the flavour, therefore I'll leave others to suggest a product and I will suggest vaping concentrates with cotton wool in a herb basket for maximum flavour and efficiency.

    Brown spots/yellow leaves

Lol, yeah, that's standard. I've never needed additional cal or mag other than what is already in the nutrient. Anyway, if the whole plant was like that it would be a problem but what you have may or may not require remedial action. Probably more details are required, about the plant. How got to...

Homemade oil for my vape pen

I recently obtained a Slug33 Fat Mac which takes 3.6g and I'm getting .6 of top shelf fragrant rosin from my good quality larf. Once you get the hang of it it's quite a lot of fun and very satisfying. You'll notice that the you tube videos have a fair few trolls drawing attention to the high...

    QB96 Elite V2 w/ SSTX heatsink question

Well it looks fine right now, but that really all I can say, but anything can happen especially in soil. I just wanted t make the point that unless there is something catastrophic, it's very difficult to tell much from a seedling. I still worry regularly about everything, I think it's the...
