New to growing and thinking of going DWC? Don't

Link below will help. Once the concept is understood then there are endless permutation. The concepts is that the roots are sitting in a large quantity of clay balls, there's 25L of them in this particular tub. This is top fed. When the roots eventually make it to the bottom there are holes...

Would anyone be interested in participating in an auto grow thread?

Yeah I've seen them all my life but I've never noticed before the three segments at the end, it didn't compute, the image in my mind was just of the large green back and shoulders.

New to growing and thinking of going DWC? Don't

Here's my very first Auto grow, and my first design attempt, using a two part shallow water culture, but I've since eliminated the spray on the roots and enlarged the substrate but even that gave me 13 zips of OG Kush with a 2 x 3 foot scrog and a viparspectra running about about 280W at the wall.

I think I can convince you that you're in fact wrong with regards to the 'easiest for a beginner' because you have not really given it a full analysis. Try and criticise my set up if you can or tell me what problems you think newbies would have with it. The easiest best grow for first time...

    Auto that topped itself

@urtles4eva, the photos are too small to see properly, by the looks of the names it appears that you have dragged thumbnail images from your photo app, that why they have that weird name they're buried deep. Better to export or use the share button or whatever to export a proper size.

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

There are two strains from my 3 on one pot grow, they have a few weeks to go but I've never seen so many trichomes even to the tips of nearly dead leaves even the petioles.

First time AUTOFLOWERING! Give me your lights guys!..Enlighten Me!

I've just discovered something that really is a game changer, and that is while testing my new DIY easy build SWC (not DWC). But I have an orange bud auto at 12 weeks and it looks like a typical indica compact with stiff, hard to bend without breaking, branches, here she is at 6 weeks in my...

First time AUTOFLOWERING! Give me your lights guys!..Enlighten Me!

Here's my current grow, 3 autos in one pot. Autos are awesome but not many people know how simple they are to grow and they over complicate matters. They produce more than any sane person would want. To get the full benefit of they need a good hydro system and you absolutely have to know how to...

Why bother to answer a post if you're only going to be a trolling prick? I didn't say what you said I said, so fuck off.

However more important than what lights for autoflower is 'soil or hydro'. Pretty well any good lights will work but autos really work best as a hydro grow, people do well in soil but to get the most out of lst and defoliating you really need a powerful root system for autos which is why hydro...

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

may as well update, so far what is most interesting is that all three have flowered at the same time in spite of two being topped and one not. this is 8 weeks now. Pink Grapefruit has commandeered half the grow with the other half split between White Widow and Pineapple Gum which had a branch...

Aglex 2000w wild thai auto x pink grapefruit auto

This is interesting, I've just finished a Think Big Auto, and I have a Pink Grapefruit Auto growing in my '3 in one pot' grow she is currently lording it over the others. Both of those will be excellent crossed that will go well with Thai phenotype.

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

It's starting to get interesting. At the moment if you squint all three appear to be a single plant although a bit bigger than what I'd expect at this age. I've pruned these with the idea that I'm only expecting a third output from each. I have noticed that all three have flipped earlier than...

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

I started with aeroponics, but what I'm using now is simply a normal inert substrate, plus a shallow water culture, which is like a DWC except it's only a few inches deep. So you get all the advantages of a DWC without any of the disadvantages. The main plant is sitting in the 27L of clay balls...

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

Yes, I am happy to have gotten 18 zips because it will just see me through till the next harvest, but I'd rather have more variety. If you're running DWC you may want to rework it a bit, my first set up just used a smaller net pot but the principle of the roots coming out and sitting in a...

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

Hi DD, yes I do agree that the secret is in the roots, it is my intuition that the plants can sense their root space and grow accordingly. With this in mind I have a system that over comes the root problem by using clay pellets which give a peculiarly good substrate structure for roots, then...

(NEWBIE) Can you put more than 1 plant per pot

How do you expect them to express their 'dislike' as opposed to if each one was grown separately, apart from final yield that is. I'm hoping for a final yeild from all three to be equivalent to a single plant grown to cover the same area. My test will be done in 8 weeks.
