If you were running a commercial grow what lights would you use?

if starting from scratch nothing touches LED for operating cost, even considering higher capital cost operation of 1000 HPS cost $637/year at 12/12 and 0.15/kWh at a typical efficiency bump of 20-40% over HPS, an equivalent 600-800W LED rig saves $125-$250 a year over HPS not including the bulb...

that 16 cob light i mentioned, 3500k 90 cri luminus cxm22 it would be dimmable. max wattage could be as high as 1200W. can be dimmed to 120W. the more you dim it, the more efficient it gets on a grams per watt basis definitely. on a max grams per square foot basis would probably be the same...

Going to try LED lighting again... Recommendations?

1600W per 4x4? so 3.6lb = 1634 g = ~1 g/W sound slike youre doing it over more of a 5x5 which is 65 g/SF the yield per SF is definitely acheivable with LED. you could probably get close to 1.5 gpw from the efficiency combined with the better directionality for side lighting 16 cobs in a 4x4...
