I need too work on my spacial recognition tendencies. The column for those COBs don't look even. The ones on the ends have way less aluminum dedicated to them for cooling. Just saying.

I bet if you move the ones on the right and left middle positions slightly toward the center, symmetry will be achieved.

Something about that layout doesn't look symmetrical, was that intentional? The top 7 black circles seem to have to large a gap between the bottom 7. Maybe the bottom and top 3 have an irregular spacing.

I was using paste and tape on a cpu heatsink made of copper etc. Oh well, glad i had a back up solution ready to go

I had some of that koptan tape too, but that didnt hold either. I am going to be an adhesive man from now on, i don't for see reusing the heatsink if i go to a new COB any way, would just get another for $10 or so

Well it happened, my 3070 AB with the paste fell off the heat sink, was blinking on and off this morning, went back to the Z4 back up (the one with ADHESIVE :)) ). grrrr

i see this as a first step toward recreational, that is why i am interested. plenty of poor folks willing to grow i bet.
