    Led Users Unite!

i would always take the Bs or Cs over the Ds which are the least efficient of the 3 D is like a citi 1212 C/B is more like a luminus cxm22

    Citizen CLU058 6x CoB Build

well thats a bit of a red herring, im assuming you mean max capacity when you say full potential, but chips are dramatically more efficient at lower currents as you probably know unless youre somebody who needs 150-600W out of a chip or agiven application id stay in the 22mm LES size, in which...

    Citizen CLU058 6x CoB Build

those mechas dont take holders youll need to mount the chips directly and solder to them i agree at all this. in fact i personally wouldnt use 1825s unless i was 100-150W or more. luminus cxm22 on passives are just as efficient below 75W and almost as efficient in the 100-150W range

    clu058 driver match

that works. -48A or -54B also works and are a little more bang for the buck (and foolproof at one properly sized cob per driver)

    clu058 driver match

those open-frame drivers are less than ideal for our application for a number of reasons. lower efficiency, less suitable for humid/wet grow environments, less protection features than the HLG series, etc it does have voltage adjsutment which is an easy way to avoid 'blowing your cobs' as you...

What LED is the best value in terms of cost/yield/service life?

most will last longer than you need, you will upgrade before they burn out or lose luminosity

High Light efficiency tests (TEKNIK) - 2.47 umol/j CRI 94.2

cool, would be a good addition to his report. as you see from the sticker it needs regular recalibration, i think that says 2 years?

Personal experiences using LED in general and also Far Red - Faster Finishing Times.

not noticeably, they are fully ripe. it depends on strain, sometimes only 2-3 days early on a % basis vs # of days flowering its prob the same or better on yield

High Light efficiency tests (TEKNIK) - 2.47 umol/j CRI 94.2

i dont have a calibrated sphere any light lab thats doing it for money list how they calibrate their equipment (basically you get a light source that has been calibrated to one at NIST (or whatever the AU equivalent is). I dont see this in tekniks report, not saying his equipment isnt...

what kind of chips are they, some have part numbers but youd usually need to unmount (some are on back of chip) theres no incentive to swap 90s for 80s on a sales basis they are all the same cost....

parallel, run the 2-conductor wire to all cobs. red to + of cobs, white to - of cobs. gang all those wires together on the other end (strip the brown jacket back farther, leaving like 1.5" of red and white wire - strip each of those 1/4". put all the red wires in one wago (one wire per hole)...
