Only good for a little extra light during sprouting.

New to growing, started growing to help with depression and it HELPED. would love feed back on this grow

If they are photos, you will need to find a way to get it as dark as possible in there for flowering. Looks like you have a blanket over a doorway - won’t do for flowering photos!

What are you using for a light and settings?

    Sativa or indica?

No, sir, I don’t have good answers here and my experiences are purely anecdotal. I’ve got no science. Totally unusual to me that a marijuana strain has the jittery effect on me also. Maybe just a weird plant, but different varieties do seem to have different qualities to the high at times. Who...

Choc mint OG dont look happy please help

21c is on the cool side and will slow growth, but too much light will kill the plants. Can you raise the lights? You may need a heat solution outside the lights. I use a small oil heater in my tent when needed. Works great and doesn’t need to activate too often to maintain a healthy temp. I...

Choc mint OG dont look happy please help

Soil doesn’t look too wet (though that could be a problem), but you may be giving them too much light. I don’t work with lux, but a quick google search shows the ideal is 15k-50k for veg. Those look young to be pushing like you are. Can you dim or back up the light? 45k calculates to 1000ppfd. I...

    Second sets of eyes

Pic 1 you can see that the buds closer to the light have a lot more brown pisitils than the lower ones. The top batch might be a week or two away, the lowers a bit longer. Consider harvesting in stages, lowering the light and letting the less developed buds lower down go a bit longer. Looks like...

    Sativa or indica?

Interesting reflection. I started smoking in the 80s and definitely heard the terms indica and sativa often as I became more versed. Amsterdam was a paradise to visit. In the US, we always smoked what we could get our hands on generally. By the late 80s, we had a great source of something...

    Grove bags

I’ve been using them very happily for the last two grows/cures. I put them in at around 60-62% (right off the dry rack in the 58-62% bags) - no burping, nice cure, and yes stay very effectively in that range. Really like them. Less storage space and less effort/worry than jars. First times I...

    After drying

They can, but only if there’s moisture left inside the buds to be drawn out. Once too dry, there’s really no great fix. The buds will still get you high. Ideally, a couple week cure will draw out some moisture and return scent.

Small amount of mold during dry

Right, I don’t sell, and 95% of my stuff is indoor and comes from a carefully controlled environment in my home. I’m really just speculating on the experience in the Northeast US this year. I literally know of no one who avoided mold issues with their outdoor grows. I also don’t know of anyone...

Working With Consultant/Grower, Can You Please Tell Me What You Think Of This Advice?

How big was your first grow? That’s really the question. Do you recommend going 24 for a first timer?

Working With Consultant/Grower, Can You Please Tell Me What You Think Of This Advice?

I haven’t grown on that scale though it’s clearly doable. There will be times during the grow when that many plants will keep you really busy. Harvesting will take days and you’ll need friends to help. I’m suggesting starting smaller so that you learn the stuff over a couple grows that will help...

Working With Consultant/Grower, Can You Please Tell Me What You Think Of This Advice?

24 plants is a massive undertaking and could be an expensive way to learn from the mistakes that are sure to happen on a first grow. I might consider starting smaller, going through an entire cycle, and then decide what you want to do in terms of going bigger. Vegetative stages are pretty...

    Information overload

This is a general truth in life. But my old ford truck with 200k+ miles still does the job. Surely there’s better out there, and if I had the money, I might even consider the upgrade. There’s always better, but that should never be an excuse to simply contemplate rather than act. I agree that...

    Information overload

The first light in my 3x3 was 230w or something like that. Buds were great. Updated to 300w only because I won the light here. Just had to dial it down and back it up a little more than the less powerful. Spider farmer wouldn’t sell the kit if it didn’t work through flower. I really believe that.

    Information overload

Totally agree. You will get flower to make yourself proud with 200w. I did not push near 100% on my most recent grow with a 300w light in a 3x3, also kept the light pretty far from the canopy. More is better to a degree, but getting starting within budget and in a timely and simple manner seems...

Mixed Auto Grow with Spider Farmer SE3000 from giveaway

Took the final plant, the Sangria freebie, off the drying rack after eight days. Final weight of the buds is a bit over two ounces, the lightest of the four plants from this run. Worth noting that this is the one plant I topped, though it received less training than the others. Nice scent and...
