I see the logic and when possible like getting new stuff when starting a new project. Companies stand behind their products, while used gear is a little bit of a roll of the dice. There is great stuff out there, but the point of the kit is ease of getting started. When I moved about five years...
There are many good lights, tents etc. This is why I like the package to get a quick start. It’s not top of the line gear, but will definitely get you some nice harvests and save you tons of reading while you decide which individual parts to buy. Spider Farmer is known to be good at decent...
Still not perfectly clear, but you’re in the window from the looks of things. Also, with the number of fan leaves dying into the buds, might be worth taking her down, or digging in a cutting out the dead stuff.
Yes, very common problem. I recommend starting with an all-in package. Something like this. Spider Farmer tent package in your size for under $400. This has everything you need to get started except soil, amendments/fertilizers, and seeds. Another $75 or less and you’re rocking your first grow...
I honestly don’t see that many amber trichomes. Some of the nugs look on the window, but ones like pic 5 look to need some time. Looks like you might have some male parts there too?
Been streaming lots of mellow acoustic music on Spotify. Loads of great stuff in recent years, Lumineers, Nathaniel Rateliff, Caamp, Gillian Welch, Noah Kahan. Put on the “radio” lists for these folks and I can let it go for days.
Get them healthy before you start flowering. Leaves look like they’re yellowing. Little guys look really burnt. I would also get away from the miracle grow.
Sounds like a good plan. LEDs provide heat, but bit not crazy heat. You’re probably good if the ambient temp is 65. My tent is in the basement, which can hit low 60s even high 50s in winter. A little oil heater has been a very effective solution. Something to think about. Good luck!
They look fine to me. Do be careful of overwatering or underwatering, once every three days in those little pots may not be enough. I am seeing some algae growth maybe, which would suggest a little overwatered? Not a big deal. Plants looks fine, but you may be seeing a little “warping” from over...
Truth is we’re all breathing mold spores all the time. Most people are not affected, a few are. Aspergillis is an example of this. All over the place and harmless to most. Really damaging to a few. Not saying you should smoke bud with rot, but I know some of my outdoor harvest has spores (I cut...
Yes, it’s worth it on many fronts. Beyond the pleasure of growing your own, when you get good at it, the quality of your grow will be better than all but the most expensive stuff you can get at the dispo, maybe even better than that at times.
After the initial investment in gear, you can keep...
This grow is almost a wrap. The fourth and final plant came down - the Sangria - at day 93 or so. She kept shooting white pistils, but the leaves were giving out and it was time. Ready to start prepping for the next round anyway.
The Sangria was the only plant I topped this round, and she also...
