Should I flush for 3-7 days? (Indoor, soil)

Just what I was thinking. Much too early to be thinking about harvest/flush. Let them swell and ripen for a few more weeks.

    Inflation and Biden

All kinds of incorrect thinking here, imo. Stupidity knows no boarders. Americans are no smarter or stupider on average than people from anywhere else. A good number of the super rich Americans I know (more than I would like, really, due to my job) did not earn their money at all. They...

DeadheadX - Keeps On Keeping On

Watered three plants that needed it with a little BTi for prevention. Added 1/4 cup of Dr. Earth top soil before watering. Did some very light trimming and lots of tucking. Just noting the BTi for myself, really.

List three things you learned from last grow.

A lesson I’ve learned from observing here this year: If you’re a new grower, keep it simple. You can kill a plant with too much good intention!

LST am I doin this shit right?

Cool. Do you create the bend devices yourself? 3d printer stuff? That’s high tech compared to the free style, tie- down approach I take, lol. Excellent.

    Seeking Recommendations for Organic Nutrients

Organic grown food is well established to have advantages in flavor, healthfulness and environmental impact. Lots of research out there if you want to find it. edited to add: also accepting that many of the oversights of organic food are highly flawed.

    Vegging plants with issues

Cool. Out of my limited wheelhouse for sure - just thought light might be an issue. Good luck sorting her out.

DeadheadX - Keeps On Keeping On

Day 23 for the first sprouts. Welcome signs of preflower on the two bigger plants. Happy to see it. The Gorilla Cookies and White Widow are both going great. Odd growth on both Créme/Chem plants. We’ll see what happens when they start to stretch and flower. Bushy right now. Had to cut a few fan...

LST am I doin this shit right?

Because your plant is topped, I think it’s early to be trying any LST. I would wait for the two new nodes to get long enough, then tie those down in opposite directions to clear the middle and let new growth from those branches shoot up. Untie those fan leaves though, imo.

    Vegging plants with issues

Many people recommend starting feeding with about half dose to see how the plant reacts. I don’t use this nute line, so less informed there.

    Vegging plants with issues

Might be showing a little burn. Could be lighting, but new leaf grow is a little faded looking - could be too much light also. They don’t need that much at this stage. I don’t mist my leaves at all unless they need a foliar feed. Keep them dry, imo. LEDs can burn leaves through the water...

List three things you learned from last grow.

Not necessarily learned on the last grow, but I keep learning it: 1. Wait to harvest, and then wait some more to produce denser, tastier buds. 2. Be patient. Add weeks to the breeders advertised times. 3. Surplus helps tremendously in waiting for the current crop to come in. Make sure to have...

LST am I doin this shit right?

Don’t tie down fan leaves (use the tuck method on these when they get bigger). Support the main base, and then seek to tie down the main/tallest node, which will cause side branches to grow taller. The plant sends its energy to the highest part of the plant, which is why you get a Christmas tree...

    Gnats

Warm is good. I run my lights 24 hours during veg (and sometimes during flower with autos). Just don’t blast them when they pop up. They don’t need much intensity at first.

    Gnats

This sort of thing. I only have one, lol. https://www.amazon.com/URBEST-Transfer-Disposable-Graduated-Pipetting/dp/B07RGF8JZW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1854W4WTZ76WG&keywords=long+plastic+pipette&qid=1704236149&sprefix=long+plastic+pipett%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-3

I use a long plastic pipette for that purpose, dripping the water over and around where the seed is. Generally use that till they have a few leaves.

    Gnats

That’s where the larvae live, which is why you need to soak the medium. It’s not ideal - seedlings don’t need that much water, but it’s necessary here. If they haven’t sprouted, or even if they have, add the water gently. But saturate the medium.

    Gnats

In my limited experience, the DT needs to go on dry soil, or it will just absorb the moisture. My approach was to add new layers after waterings, and after the top layer had dried out. Ultimately, you’ve got to kill the larvae, and only the BTi will do that. Other stuff helps control the adult...

    so I have this oil...

How much went in originally for what quantity? Really important aspect. Honestly, I’m not an expert, though I’ve tried lots of different stuff at this point. Once the original material is removed, I suspect no more decarbing happens. Filtering out the weed should be the last step. 10 hours...
