    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Are you saying that you started the process with 4ppm water, as opposed to 0ppm distilled/RO water? If so, that can have an effect on the resulting composition of the solution/suspension you've created. It might still work, and looks good, so it may still work. If you get a nice laser beam, it...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

I know the purposes of use are different for humans and p lants, but the method of how it enters the tissues is the same. It has to have small enough particles, in order to penetrate into living tissues, unless you are just using it topically, which isn't the case for plants. A side-by-side test...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Did you read the OP? I posted pics of clear CS, and of a treated plant, in the OP. Amber works fine, but clear works as well, and has smaller particles. The plant in the OP was actually treated with amber CS, just to see if it would work, and it does, but I wouldn't aim for that. It isn't...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Why would it work better for ingestion but worse for seed making? The point of both, is to have the smallest silver particles absorb into the cells, be it a human or a plant.

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

You actually want it to be clear, but show the laser beam due to the microscopic particles. It usually does show some PPM reading, but it isn't the most accurate method for measurement. Also, if your generator is built loike the one described in the OP, you likely won't have to go past 15hrs...

Cool. Glad to see you got an effective brand. Some just cause burn and stress.

No problem. That sounds good. Experimentation is great for improving technique. Report back, with your findings.

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Some people claim to get success with spot treatment, but I don't recommend it, since you want enough silver to build up in the plant's tissues, to have the desired effect. I recommend "flipping" the entire plant, and not consuming the buds, which likely contain silver particles.

Awesome. I'm glad to have helped out. As long as you make sure to thoroughly check for pollen sacs before spraying, you should be good to go. Good luck!

Hermies - is it worth growing out their seeds?

Yea, that should be fine. Worst case, you get some seedy bud. No harm done. The only time I'd really recommend against it, is if you are in the middle of a big breeding project, and can't risk stray pollen. These "hermie" offspring would be good to use for testing any new techniques, as well...

Hermies - is it worth growing out their seeds?

No point in throwing them away, unless you have plants, that you're worried about getting pollinated, growing at the same time. I would advise against using them for further seed production, though. They will have passed on their genetics, including the "hermie" gene(s) (very possibly a low...

You're welcome, man. I think it should work fine for a small batch. Share your results, if you try it out! Good luck!

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

The wires should be fine as long as they are actually 0.9999% silver. I have never tried using a battery, since they get weaker as they are drained. You can probably make some sufficient CS with one, though. There's really no need for it to be as ridiculously pure as some people are trying to...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

I'd say that unless you are planning on drinking the CS, or putting it in your eyes, etc. (which I don't recommend), the stuff made with a basic generator, as depicted in the OP, is more than sufficient for Cannabis "flipping". The main goal is to get the particles small enough that they can...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Honestly, I'm not sure. 30ppm on a TDS meter is usually enough, but TDS readings aren't really accurate with CS. If you can't make your own generator, you can try it out. Id spray it on a few leaves first, to see if it burns them. If it does, it's not pure/well made. Remember, that CS isn't...

Post Your Frostiest Autoflower Bud Pics

How're everyone's buds coming along for 2017? Now that the year 2017 is coming to an end, it would be a great time to share the frostiest buds you've grown over the past 12 months.

    Say it aint so man!

No problem. If you've already got some plant breeding experience, Cannabis breeding shouldn't be too challenging. It'll just be about keeping detailed records, and proper planning for your goals. Good luck!

    Bonsai Mums from Feminized Seeds

A "feminized seed" is just a fancy term for female plant created using female pollen. A plant grown from the seed will be no different than a plant grown from a female regular seed. Chemically induced "feminized seed" is not a seed that is treated with a chemical and turned into a female. It...
