Hey guys, just started my first grow and res temps seem to be 60-61F, don't see the weather getting much warmer over the next few months and I imagine that they will cool down 10 or so degrees with the lights off, is this too low? Do I need to get a heater?

I found this formula to run to calculate nutrients for add-back in Lucas formula using GH flora micro/bloom: ((target ppm - current ppm) / target ppm) * 8 ml per gallon * res gallons = Flora Micro (ml), double this figure to get Flora Bloom (ml)

Do you have an extra empty bucket? Move the netpot/lid to the empty bucket and let the roots hang in there while you clean and change the res.

Yes from what I've read concentrated ph up/down will kill the bennies. Diluting it makes it tolerable to the bennies. I am not sure how many die, but its not too hard to dilute the ph up/down so why not?

very serious. The splash-guards holes are bigger than the perc holes so it could easily carry up all that way with a little help from some water. The splash guard isn't perfect, I've got water in the mouth before.

Is this net pot too big for a 5gal bucket, starting from clone? I asked for a 6" netpot at the hydro store and this is what the guy handed me, but looking at other grows they seem to use smaller ones.
