I agree with some of what is being said, but some of you just come off as know-it-all n00bs.

Science is merely observation. I find flushed bud is better than non-flushed bud, as simple as that. Not only does it taste better to me, I find non-flushed bud physically hurts my lungs.

If you don't flush, there will be heavy metals, including magnesium, which will spark when lit. I ain't making this shit up.. Don't believe me then.

Well, I forgot not everyone prepares their soil before hand. Even so, I wouldn't feed the last two weeks, if you do, the smoke will be harsh, even spark!

Break up mosquito dunks, and spread them over the top soil. Also, break some up into water, and let it sit over night, then water. Mosquito dunks contain BTi, which is a bacteria that eats fungus gnat larva. It takes two weeks, then they will be completely gone.

The trick is to keep them green (purple in this case) to the end. The leafs can make good hash or edibles if they are not all burnt or yellow. It doesn't always go that way though, now does it? It only a goal, but the real goal is to have smoke at the end of the day.

Here's how I make top shelf hash. I use a trim tray (trimtray.com) with a 150 micron screen (orange) and a 100 micron screen (white), a pollen press (the silver thing on the left) and a bag of buds. 63.40 grams of seeded Kona Gold. I normally don't use buds, unless it has seeds. It's a waste...

I don't see any real problems either. Also, Neptune's Harvest works a charm, just don't use it late in flower, or else your bud will taste of fish.
