I've poisoned my plant!

I went a little heavy on the morbloom and now I've got leaves turning yellow. I'm going to just water for a bit.

I'm curious should I flush her or stay the course. I'm not trying to do anything dramatic here.

Otherwise she's budding up nicely. Nutrient burn be damned. Jajaja.

Um I don't think anything is wrong with them the fan leafs usually start to turn yellow during flowering because it's taking nutrients from the leafs and using it for bud development and nutrient burn usually dosnt look like that and that tiny bit of brown on the tips of some of them I wouldn't really worry about right much they look pretty healthy to me

Thanks, I figured it might just be going into its final stages but I worry.

That's pretty significant tip burn.

That plant has a month plus left

Thanks for the post I feel like it was quite informative. I've switched to water for a bit and will continue with just morbloom and maybe some molassis I'll back off of those in a couple weeks and start to flush.

I'm probably going to pull her down in the new year, so about another month like you said. Unfortunately I need the space she's in so I hope she'll hurry up. That said I'm not going to chop her down early

That morbloom is 0-10-10. It never turned out well for me to use anything with an npk value higher than 5 in organic soil. Just because it is "made with fish" doesn't mean it's safe for living soil. High npk values can easily piss off the fungi; mycorrhizae doesn't like big swings in ph which is what happens when you add too much concentrated soluble npk to a living mix. Luckily the easy fix is just giving water. Do not "flush" the soil just water as normal.
Neptunes harvest with seaweed is 2-4-2. I use it only if the plants begin to look pale. It's far better to put all of what the plants need for most of the grow into the mix before you ever put in the plants. Let it set for a month and then all you need to do to keep your plants healthy is water them. Soluble forms of npk should remain on standby just in case they need a boost late in bloom or if they were in the same size container for longer than planned.
If you need to sustain plants over long term like for say a bloom cycle next time consider instead using a simple top dressing of ewc, kelp, and fish bone meal. Jobes organic spikes are also a good option for slow release npk; they feed for 8 weeks. I push two in each container just before the flip...

That's where I'm at. I'm not doing anything drastic. I'll look into the neptunes harvest though. Thanks for all your input.

I don't see any real problems either. Also, Neptune's Harvest works a charm, just don't use it late in flower, or else your bud will taste of fish.

Thanks for the heads up. Here goes a macro view of her right now. She's officially on flush. Hope there's no foul taste. I haven't feed her fish guts in over a month. Lol.

Recon you got about 3wks to go don’t flush just water there is some burn but also looks like there’s some natural fad as plants ending it life cycle which is making them look worse than they are

That's what I suspect as well. I just watered with a dilute morbloom and tapwater yesterday and today. I was trying to supplement cal/mag and whatever else is in the tap out here. Hey, the buds are swelling up and frosting over nicely. That's all I can ask for.

You either have lockout or have flushed out all your nutes. Your leafs are yellowing a bit too soon. Either way, it doesn't matter at this stage, there no time to do anything but wait until it's all done and smoke a fatty. In the end, that's pretty much what it's all about, having smoke. So we worry every time something looks off, but there's no reason to worry in the end. Just make sure you don't feed for the last two weeks, for a clean tasting smoke.

The trick is to keep them green (purple in this case) to the end. The leafs can make good hash or edibles if they are not all burnt or yellow. It doesn't always go that way though, now does it? It only a goal, but the real goal is to have smoke at the end of the day.

Right! a good crop should stay green and healthy looking until the end. The only time I get yellowing leaves is after I chopped lol.

That's where I'm at now. This all started out as an experiment to see what I could grow with fertilizer from home depot, lowes, or the like. Just having fun I guess. I over fed. I'll be more mindful next go round. I've just transplanted the next two plants that I'll be growing in soil. They are starting life with so many more advantages. This plant featured here is "the little bag seed that could."

Morbloom is pretty hot. I don’t use it during flowering, but I do give it in very small amounts to seedlings, along with their fish emulsion. I don’t start seedlings in my ROLS — just jiffy mix, so they need a little nutrition right off the bat. Once they get their second set of leaves they go into 5 inch square post with ROLS and everything goes well. I flower in 7 gallon nursery bags. I supplement with fish emulsion during the stretch, and after that ends I feed in very small amounts during every watering. I’ve had wonderful results with products from True Plant Science. Their shit is super concentrated. You have to measure it with a syringe since it only uses a couple mls per gallon. Bloom plus signal through week 6, and signal all the way to the very end since it’s also an excellent salt binder.

In other words minimal liquid nutes and carefully crafted soil. It’s all about being in touch with your plants. Being able to look at them and know exactly what they need. Knowing that if the leaves are turning yellow towards the bottom that they probably need nitrogen, or if the leaves are getting light spots and dark veins that’s most likely mag deficiency. I see less and less of this every time I reuse my soil. Every trip it takes through the compost bin makes it more than the sum of its parts.
