Making a clone from a 6 foot plant?

My vote would be trying to uproot and salvage as much as you can. Working with a damaged root system seems preferable to cutting off the root ball and attempting to regrow one (if such a thing on that large a scale is even possible)

    5x5 5k budget

I’ve been very happy with the DIY 5x5 kit that chilLED has out. I have 3 of them

    Recommended bud trimmer

I have a trim pro workstation. I switched to the mixed grate and started just using that to clip off the big stuff. Then after drying I use Debudder bucket lid and a Trim Bag for some “friction trimming”. I’ve been pretty happy with the results. Some cleanup is needed but it’s the best...

    First time fimming help

I was using tomato cages with garden fencing attached to the tops for a scrog/trellis point. I’m sure they were topped and lollipopped but as far as how long I vegged them for I’m not sure. Typically I’d judge on the size of the stalk and overall height when deciding what was going into flower.

    First time fimming help

I don’t see why not! I just looked and my best for 6 plants was 40oz. That was drain to waste, coco in fabric pots under led.

    First time fimming help

I subscribe to the day 22 and 42 defoliation method. Maybe wait a little longer before that first defoliation this time?

    Ames’ Iron Coat?

Just another update. I decided to purchase a 5 gallon pail of the Iron Coat. In the past when I ordered The Blue Max I had to order through a smaller hardware chain. This time I went through Home Depot as I was able to get it delivered. I had 8 sheets of 1/2 plywood that I sanded, sprayed with...

    Where to crop?!?

Glad I wasn’t the only one worried about that! That’s a tough lesson to learn on your own

Day Night differential Humidity and Temperature preferences

I was going to make a Parenthood reference and then I got down a rabbit hole of which came out first. Crazy that BATEA and Parebthood both came out in 1989. Then in 1991 Pointe Break. Talk about a costar upgrade and someone believing he had something to offer as an actor! A little stubble on the...

Woa! That sounds pretty slick. Now I know what I’m reading up on tonight! As always, thank you for sharing.

Day Night differential Humidity and Temperature preferences

Do you run the same day/night temps and RH%? I’m trying to dial that in. I stopped chasing the VPD dragon after reading some of your past posts on the subject

What to start making edibles? Easiest?

I have and often use the magical butter machine. I think they call it the MB 1 now? I make infused coconut oil and then put that in capsules. The coconut oil works well because it will return to a solid state in the capsule

40+ lbs with 12 Plants in 2 Rooms on a Flip

I’m moving out of tents and into a sealed room but building it around an active grow. It’s all been speculation thus far so getting these answers is gold. You definitely saved me from cutting unneeded holes in soon to be built walls. Thank you!

40+ lbs with 12 Plants in 2 Rooms on a Flip

Do you “exhaust” the heat produced by the dehumidifier into a lung room? I guess I’ve never found a clear answer about that aspect of a sealed room. In a truly sealed room I assume that the heat produces by the dehumidifier just gets handled by the mini split? I’m struggling with this as I’m...

    Reveg transplant?

Over the past few months I’ve been having a lot of good luck with revegging and running everything for a second round. It has given me some leeway with taking clones as well as seeing the value in an older plant. I’m thinking of making this a permanent part of my routine. I grabbed some 10...

    Ames’ Iron Coat?

Not that anyone was wondering but I got some info today about this product. It dries to a satin finish and will work over a latex or acrylic base on plywood (according to their customer service rep via the website) I also tracked down this video of the product. Iron Coat
