I don't top, so I get about 2-3 oz per plant. I don't really need more than that.

I can usually safely predict what my yield will be with autos. I grow 3 Bears OG and I get the same yield each time and they have been very predictable.

I believe that. My current 20/4 grow looks a lot better than my previous 24/0 ones.

By the same token, I have noticed that the plants look healthier with 4 hours to rest. I understand you are losing 4 hours of grow time but I look at it as a step backward to take 2 forward. That's just my unscientific observation.

I guess some of us are less serious about growing than others. That's just an observation. I think what makes sense for a hobbyist (me) and what makes sense for someone who might be doing it for commercial reasons, are worlds apart.

Exactly. Grow good auto beans and treat them right and the reward is huge.

Photos have the advantage of decades and decades of breeding and development. If they weren't better than autos for that reason alone, there would be something drastically wrong. The problem I see with the OP and detractors of autos in general...it's never a fair apples-to-apples comparison...

How do you prolong auto vey cycle? I always believed it was determined.
