Potassium Bicarbonate - is it really safe to use in flower!? Material safety data is concerning

Maybe for you I am... But I'd rather use something that doesn't warn to not be inhaled, especially when I'm doing JUST that. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. When I find information that may be helpful to some but not all I still share, because we all have different...

Potassium Bicarbonate - is it really safe to use in flower!? Material safety data is concerning

I'm using it to control PM. And getting closer to harvest I am getting more and more concerned about spraying things. Plus, I also like to know what I'm smoking or potentially smoking... Many chemicals change compounds once lit on fire and my stoner curiosity kicked in

Potassium Bicarbonate - is it really safe to use in flower!? Material safety data is concerning

OK guys... So we all know potassium bicarbonate is safe to use in foods, however my concern is what happens to a product when it's lit on fire. For those of you using in flower all the way up until harvest, you may want to peep this Material Safety Data Sheet specifically under combustion...

    Expertise pretty pleeeeze

Hope everybody is having a good evening and growing season. This is my first grow and I'm currently battling a few issues ... I am hoping for some experienced thoughts on when I might be able to harvest, without harvesting too early... I am checking my trichs and all seem to be milky on all...

How do you tell if PM is dead

This is exactly what I need next year. It's these damn lilac trees causing my problem and spreading the spores. Luckily I have been able to control the PM and hasn't reached the flowers, fingers crossed it stays that way for the next two weeks. Don't see any signs under the scope except on...

How do you tell if PM is dead

Gee thanks, lol So with Dr. Zymes are your leaves left with any scarring? Potassium Bicarbonate and organic ACV seem to almost make the treated PM 'pop out' more to the eye, so I'm wondering if it's getting worse...or is it dying? Not really seeing spreading to new leaves so I feel it's...

    Bud rot?

Caterpillars shit on the buds and the rain causes it to mold, which is why your seeing it the morning after it rains. I'd definitely do a thorough inspection and spray some BT. Good luck!

    Wasn't going to ask this...

And it was at that moment, right after she threw up in her mouth a little, that she overcame her fear and bought some 5 Gallon buckets, while thinking back to all those times she said "it's just an immature seed" EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW

    Late flower bugs

This is my first grow and am doing for fun to test the waters before I spend money on an indoor grow. That being said, I have a semi mystery garden of bag seeds, lol. My three littlest were from Mimosa and my largest 2 are a true mystery but sure are pretty. Everything seems to be going...

    Late flower bugs

I'm in the same boat currently, and many many growers suggesting a bud wash at harvest. If it were me, I would personally leave them alone, unless you are seeing damage from them...I have been living with leaf hoppers all year and they don't seem to do anything but attract my eyes, I think they...

    Late flower bugs

BTK is what I'm currently using. I got it for these damn caterpillars trying to devour my flowers. I did notice there was a second BTI like you said for the flyers like mosquitos and gnats, but those don't seem to be a problem for me, at least ATM. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Ok to use neem oil in flower?

Been battling PM for a few weeks now and finally found huge results using organic ACV. 1 tsp per Quart of water. I did aggressive spray two days in a row and virtually all spots are gone. I'm sort of amazed.

    Late flower bugs

Leaf hopper for sure. They are always around my girls. I spray BT weekly, but they are still there the morning after

    Wasn't going to ask this...

Thank you for this reply, the bubble bag comparison was perfect! Hell, I've put a wooden spoon on a blender due to those sticky trichs not wanting to drop off, so a simple dunk surely isn't going to do much damage. Appreciate you taking the time to talk this thru with me

Seems there is some science to back this up as well...however, can't fully confirm as I am not paying this dude for his lab result haha

    Wasn't going to ask this...

I'd be lying if I didn't say it makes me super nervous, lol. But really does make a lot of sense the more I research it. Some of these after wash pics are disgusting
