Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

So I just did some quick math; that 2.2 lb bag of maxibloom would last just a little longer than the new Superthrive bloom and it's 1/3 the cost. I've got to check that stuff out!

Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

I'm going to test maxibloom soon as I need a new bloom formula. I like GH stuff too. Have you ever measured its potency? Like, how many ppms are in a gram of that stuff? Does that make sense? I'm really curious about the cost of use.

Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

Thanks! I only use bloom in hydro. That was a promix plant grown with foliage pro. Foliage pro is still legit, IMO.

Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

It's interesting you should ask that. About 6 months ago I bought some DG bloom off Amazon. It arrived at my door as SuperThrive Bloom. I called DG and they said something about a merger, or Superthrive now owns the bloom formula? I can't remember. Regardless of that, I tested the...

Best NPK Ratio for Veg and Flower

I'm pretty sure that Kelp me is just an additive meaning you can use it with your normal feeding routine without changing anything.

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

    1) Yes, in my experience it's not a problem. 2) You can try a bloom booster if you'd like to see if it helps. I think your best bet is FP all the way through but it's worth an experiment on your end. 3) Spinosad for thrips. PM is an environmental issue. There are chemicals you can spray...

Duel fuel looks like it would work pretty well in container gardens. Doesn't look too expensive either.

    should I flush or not?

Well if you recently had 'deficiencies' then a 'flush' is the last thing you'd want to do. I'd recommend watering more often and giving lite doses of food at every watering. Your medium looks dry and it should never look dry.

    Nutrients...

Yes, if you use as directed. It's not too dissimilar to the Jacks product that also has you add calnit.

    RIP Subcool

I always respected Subcool's dedication to quality in his garden. I don't see a lot of herb on these forums that I'd want to smoke but I'd smoke his product any day. RIP

In my opinion, MC is a little dirty for hydro. It clearly works but it coats all surfaces below your waterline with a film of something. It's not algae; it's almost like a particulate or dust? I posted a pic earlier in the thread.

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

I noticed some years ago that a lot of 'sweeteners' and products claiming to increase resin contained sulfur. So naturally I increased the use of these products (and even tested the addition of potassium sulfate) and didn't see a noticeable difference. So to me it seemed that supplying enough...

No nutrients till this point with pics HELP

I'd encourage you to warm up your veg area by 5 degrees or so. Your medium also looks pretty saturated for how small those plants are so maybe you are giving them a bit too much water? Get some air moving in there, it's not too late for them to bounce back.

    Potassium content of Floranova

I'm curious, do you have a link to back up the claim that the growth of beneficial bacteria is impeded by those phosphorus levels? On a broader level here, the potassium levels in floranova are perfectly fine. You can easily add more, it *may* give you sturdier branches but it still wont...

Will P rich Bat guano be sufficient as an amendment to increase yield?

If you're an organic guy maybe you should grow in something like promix and use liquid organics instead. Organic amendments aren't easy to balance, especially for new growers.
